The Snow Girl 2: The Soul Game – Episode 5 1

Meanwhile, Miren awakens at her home, her heart pounding with shock. In a panic, she conducts a frantic check of her body for any signs of violation. Though she finds herself intact, God's Raven remains tight-lipped about the events that transpired after her consciousness faded. Her phone buzzes incessantly with notifications from her mother, who claims they were on the phone until Miren safely reached home. Suspecting that Miren's state was due to intoxication, her mother's assumptions only add to her turmoil. Vulnerable and frightened, Miren admits her deep-seated fear, imagining her attackers lurking in every shadow.

The narrative shifts to a tense meeting among Miren, Jaime, Paco, Inma, Belen, and Chaparro. The police, irate over the journalists' withholding of crucial information, listen intently as Jaime and Miren unravel the story of Emilia and Borja. Post-meeting, Jaime is displeasured that Miren kept Borja, the tests, and her source a secret from him. She firmly asserts the need for his trust.

Elsewhere, Antonio, Alberto's legal advocate, steps in to defend Garrido. The police bring up Alicia, and Garrido confesses that she represents his deepest regret. He further reveals that he had ceased participating in the Soul Game long ago and harbored genuine affection for Allison.

Back at home, Mercedes and Nacho share a heartwarming bond as they discuss the unfolding events. However, Nacho's thoughts wander when asked to fetch a blanket from Laura's room. At this juncture, Miren and Jaime arrive, seeking insights into Garrido's relationship with Laura. Mercedes and Cristobel vouch for his good character, but Nacho, branding him a fanatic, storms off in a huff. Miren, echoing Nacho's sentiment, attempts to chase after him. Jaime halts her, concerned about her wrist, but she dismisses his worry and dashes off after the boy.

Elsewhere, Chaparro and Belen engage in a somber conversation about Miren, their observations highlighting her visible distress. The truth finally unfolds as Belen confesses her desire to transfer, weighed down by guilt over her inability to uncover Miren's assailants. They seek Borja's assistance, only for him to abruptly withdraw his cooperation and refuse to testify, dismissing the game as mere urban folklore. Frustrated, the officers resolve to alert all the parents.

Nacho, consumed by grief and feeling trapped, expresses his turmoil. Miren, sensing his overload, suggests seeking refuge in a "Safe Place." Upon noticing Miren's scar, Nacho realizes she too is entangled in the game. Driven by his concern for his sister, he urges her to exercise caution and offers his help. Agreeing to Test 3, which mandates burning the Lost Girl’s Depot (the case files), Miren consents after God's Raven promises a clue to advance her investigation.

In the meantime, Garrido, cleared of suspicion due to an alibi and the absence of his fingerprints on the Bible, is released from custody. However, Alberto reveals that the board is pressuring him to resign. Garrido threatens to expose some undisclosed information, prompting Alberto to counter with his own dirt on Garrido. Jaime receives a call from his father, learning that Alberto's construction company has abruptly pulled out of all their deals. Stunned, Jaime heads to Belen's briefing session with the parents of Los Arcos students, where she warns them about the perilous Soul Game. Amidst this, Garrido approaches Jaime.

Returning to the test, Miren and Nacho incinerate the files in an abandoned structure. Just as they catch a glimpse of the red jacket-wearing figure but fail to apprehend him, Nacho inquiries about Miren's safe haven—a beach she once visited with her parents as a child. In a moment of emotional vulnerability, he admits their broken state and kisses her, to her discomfort. He quickly apologizes.

At this juncture, God's Raven transmits the final test for Allison. Suspended in agony, she surrenders, prompting the vengeful entity to stab her and leave her to perish as punishment. Subsequently, God's Raven reveals the location for the ultimate test—Miren's crucifixion site.

Elsewhere, Garrido informs Jaime that the last game he orchestrated occurred forty years ago. He claims ignorance about the new edition involving Allison and Borja. However, he divulges that Laura's case is unrelated, revealing her unhappy relationship with Tomas and her affair with an older man—Alberto Mendoza, who impregnated her. Believing she was being punished, Laura's fate intertwines with the dark machinations of the game in an unexpected twist.

At the conclusion of "The Snow Girl 2: The Soul Game," Episode 5, Miren steadfastly refuses to continue with the game, opting instead to seek the aid of the authorities. Nacho, however, persists in his demand that she see it through to the end. Just then, Borja makes his presence known, grasping Miren by the throat as Nacho reveals his true identity as God's Raven. He insists that she requires purification, much like Allison before her, and before she knows it, she loses consciousness. Without hesitation, they abduct her and speed away.
