Valentina's half-fairy heritage prevents her from wielding the sword herself, leaving the fate of the world hanging in the balance.

Back at the Brauer residence, the dragons are fading away as Dr. Brauer cunningly manipulates Simon into believing he's the chosen hero destined to save the world. Simon, unsuspecting, falls prey to his deceit, seeing Dr. Brauer as a savior for the fairies.
Meanwhile, Jared, Hatcher, and Mallory converge with Bree at the convenience store. They meet Hubert, their guide to the elusive Goblin Market. Stepping through a discreet back door, they emerge into a dense forest, following a trail of broken breadcrumbs as the elusive market shifts and shifts again. Meanwhile, at the city council, a tense battle was brewing between Tanner and Dr. Brauer over the fate of the psychiatric hospital.
