The Terminal List: Dark Wolf – Season 1 Episode 4 1

In Geneva, Iranian Minister Yousef makes an appearance at the birthday bash of Cyrus’ son. His disdain is palpable as he casts a judgmental eye over Vahid’s gift—an iPhone—accusing him of straying from their mission. Cyrus concurs, reinforcing the minister’s stern rebuke. Yet, once Yousef departs, Vahid confides his growing reservations about the nuclear deal, voicing opposition to ceding unchecked power to Yousef. Cyrus, however, remains steadfast, asserting their dominance in the unfolding power play.

Back in Munich, Haverford’s long-standing Iranian contact, Shepherd, finally delivers. The adversaries encountered in Budapest are revealed to be part of the Khalid Network, orchestrating a clandestine exchange between Molnar’s bearings and Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. The mission is clear: intercept the bearings shipment and replace them with counterfeit units destined for the nuclear facilities.

Raife, ever the skeptic, questions the reliability of single-source intelligence, but Haverford vouches for Shepherd’s credibility, citing a decades-long alliance.

Simultaneously, Eliza and Ben scout the hijack location, devising a plan that leverages an underground tunnel network for a swift escape. Their reconnaissance is nearly foiled when a worker stumbles upon them, prompting a spur-of-the-moment act where they feign a romantic encounter. Amidst the tension, a genuine moment of mutual admiration sparks between them, as they commend each other’s quick thinking.

Elsewhere, Raife and Tal rendezvous with her Mossad contact, Mordechai, to procure the fake bearings. Mordechai slips Tal an additional item, sparking Raife’s suspicion. The ex-SEAL’s skepticism deepens as he questions the expedited production of the counterfeit bearings, only to be met with Mordechai’s evasive replies.

Mo and Landry are entrusted with the responsibility of managing the weapons. Landry, true to his repulsive and ignorant nature, remains unchanged, but the team tolerates him with a collective shrug. Meanwhile, Ben and Eliza have already compiled a detailed list of vehicles needed for the mission, with Mossad pledging to supply them as well.

As time ticks by, Raife's suspicions towards Mossad intensify with every passing moment. He's also deeply concerned about the collateral risks involved and proposes relocating the hijack site to a more secluded area, far from civilian eyes. His sense of betrayal deepens when Ben sides with Eliza, who confidently asserts that they have everything under control.

Alone with Ben, Raife confronts him, accusing him of letting personal feelings cloud his judgment and pointing out that Haverford's personal vendetta isn't a cause the entire team should rally behind. He reminds Ben of their agreement after the Danawi incident – that Ben would return to the SEALs. Yet, Ben remains resolute, insisting that their current endeavors are crucial for aiding their comrades on the frontlines. He despises the bureaucratic red tape of war, preferring the autonomy Haverford offers. Reluctantly, Raife concedes and agrees to stay on.

Tal is engrossed in deciphering Mordechai's enigmatic parcel when Landry suddenly appears. He hands her a gun, using it as a pretext to flirt shamelessly. Tal firmly rejects his advances, but Landry, undeterred, attempts to molest her. It takes Eliza brandishing a knife and threatening him to make Landry retreat.

Later, Ben urges Eliza to remove Landry from the operation, but she refuses, citing his indispensability to their mission. She argues that this experience will also teach Tal how to handle men like Landry. Grateful for Ben's support, Eliza thanks him, and they share a brief, meaningful moment.

The day of the hijack, dubbed D-Day, commences without a hitch. Haverford swiftly eliminates Molnar, and Ben secures the crucial bearings. However, their success is short-lived as they're ambushed by a sizable contingent of agents. Mo is struck down, but Landry, surprisingly, risks his own safety to rescue him. Amidst the chaos, a civilian car becomes entangled in the crossfire. Raife manages to escape in a vehicle belonging to a deceased Khalid Agent.

Ben and Eliza seek refuge in an underground tunnel. Realizing there's a traitor in their midst, Ben is shocked to discover that the leak originates from Mossad. In a twist of fate, Eliza, a Mossad Agent herself, turns on Ben, shooting him and seizing Molnar's bearings. Meanwhile, Tal has cleverly hacked Haverford's phone and disabled its charging, ensuring it dies right in the midst of the ambush, leaving them all in the dark.
