Meanwhile, Jong-man takes a keen notice of Ga-ram’s aggressive demeanor and concludes that he must be expelled from the school. His strategy involves enlisting the help of Hui-tae, a journalist with a knack for uncovering scandals. Hui-tae, who penned the explosive article on Ga-ram’s doping scandal that forced his retirement, possesses evidence suggesting Ga-ram is consulting a neurologist and taking prescription steroids. Hui-tae suspects Ga-ram is doping the rugby team, enhancing their performance, and seeks Jong-man’s permission to conduct an investigation within the school premises.

With I-ji back at the helm, she devotes herself to Woo-jin’s rehabilitation, tirelessly focusing on improving her balance. The coaching staff gears up for the National draw, engaging in a series of time-honored rituals aimed at bringing good luck. Based on the day’s horoscope, Ga-ram and I-ji are honored as the representatives for the national sports draw ceremony. These rituals prove their worth as the teams draw favorable opponents for their initial matches.

Elsewhere, Jong-man convenes with Hui-tae, who reveals his intentions to uncover the truth behind Ga-ram’s activities. Unbeknownst to them, Seong-jun conceals a shoulder injury from Ga-ram and his teammates. During a rigorous training session, Ju-yang tackles him, exacerbating the injury the following day. Ga-ram rushes him to the hospital, where diagnostic tests confirm a rotator cuff tear. Ga-ram insists that Seong-jun focus solely on his recovery, but his mother’s pressure only adds to his frustration.

During one of her visits to the doctor for a ear check-up, Woo-jin decides to pay Seong-jun a visit. Overjoyed by her presence, Seong-jun attempts to bathe independently but struggles. Woo-jin steps in to assist him, and later, they share a meal together. During this intimate moment, Woo-jin clarifies that there is no romantic involvement between her and Ung, setting Seong-jun’s mind at ease.

Upon returning to school, Ga-ram reinforces his stance that Seong-jun should concentrate solely on his recovery. However, the mounting pressure from his mother and his own impatience begin to take their toll on Seong-jun’s mental well-being.

When Ga-ram extends an invitation to her school, intending to update her on Seong-jun's health status, she harbors a secret agenda: to enlist Ga-ram's aid in persuading Seong-jun to abandon rugby and join them in Spain. She firmly believes that rugby holds no promising future for Seong-jun and instead urges him to pursue the safer path—studying to become a sports agent and supporting his brother Seok-jun. Unfortunately for her, Seong-jun overhears this conversation, and his emotions bubble over with displeasure. Ga-ram's disapproval of his team training is already a sore point, and now his mother's suggestion that he should merely assist his brother adds insult to injury. Seong-jun, with steel in his voice, asserts to his mother his unwavering commitment to rugby.

Ga-ram's refusal to allow him to train intensifies Seong-jun's desperation, especially after he overhears his teammates discussing the likelihood of not starting the match due to a lack of substitute. That very night, driven to extremes, Seong-jun slips out of school to procure steroids, unaware that Hui-tae shadows his every move. The next morning, Hui-tae exposes Seong-jun's doping scandal, sending Hanyang into turmoil.

Upon reading the article, Jong-man and Nak-gyun rush to the boys' dormitory to conduct a search. They uncover a bottle of steroids hidden in Seong-jun's drawer. Nak-gyun is poised to drag Seong-jun away, but Heung-nam intercepts them by informing Ga-ram of the incident. Ga-ram swiftly assumes command, rallying the rugby team to barricade the door while he speaks confidentially with Seong-jun. Seong-jun reassures Ga-ram of his innocence, vowing he never took the steroids.

In a dramatic conclusion to the episode, Ga-ram takes the blame, declaring that the steroids belong to him and disclosing to the entire school his battle with myasthenia gravis.
