The Witcher - Season 2 Episode 4 1

Meanwhile, in Redania, elves are imprisoned as rumors of the Wild Hunt spread like wildfire, often through the lips of drunken vagabonds. Amidst the shadows, Yennefer and Cahir sense their vulnerability. To find refuge, they devise a scheme to sneak aboard a vessel. However, their plan is soon foiled by vigilant guards, forcing them to flee through the labyrinthine sewers.

There, Yennefer and Cahir encounter a mute named Dermain and a reluctant elf, Da'Lian, who they join forces with in search of an escape route. Little do they know, their guide turns out to be none other than the enigmatic Sandpiper, who we later discover is actually Jaskier! Prompted by Yennefer's presence, Jaskier agrees to lend a hand, fearing the erosion of freedom for all free-folk, from elves to potentially dwarves, and even artists.

That fateful night, Jaskier's luck runs out when a guard recognizes him. Harsh criticism of his latest song ignites Jaskier's temper, plunging him into dire straits. The guard demands to see his papers, leading to Ba'Lian's selfless sacrifice, enabling the others to sneak aboard the vessel unnoticed.

As the Northern Kingdoms forged an alliance, Dijikstra urged King Vizimir to consider reclaiming Cintra. Meanwhile, Ciri, Tress, and Geralt delved deeper into their research. Two distinct creatures had been discovered with stellacite embedded within them, a phenomenon seemingly linked to a monolith. Ciri was well acquainted with such mysteries, having witnessed the monolith's collapse outside the gates of Cintra. Recall the moment when she shrieked at the approaching Black Knight, her potent voice toppling it to the ground.

Geralt vowed to resolve this conundrum, which necessitated seeking the expertise of those who knew monoliths. Inevitably, this led him to Istredd through a portal, embarking on a new quest to unravel the mysteries surrounding these ancient relics.
