The Witcher - Season 3 Episode 3 1

As they await the antidote to work, Geralt and Ciri discuss Philippa and Djikstra's proposal of Ciri relocating to Redania, a plan that Geralt adamantly opposes. Geralt's resolve to safeguard Ciri grows stronger, and he decides to embark on a journey to Aretuza, entrusting the care of the enchanted Teryn to Anika's capable hands.

Meanwhile, Yennefer, determined to safeguard Ciri, seeks the aid of Giancardi, a banker who owes her a significant debt. Under Ciri's stealthy watch, Yennefer meets with Tissaia in private, despite their apparent lack of harmony. Despite their differences, Yennefer pleads with a mage conclave to intervene and prevent the Brotherhood from succumbing to the turmoil sparked by the Northern Kings.

Curiously, Ciri construed avoiding turmoil as a means of drawing attention, all while rectifying a carnival's misidentification of a wyvern. At the conclusion of her journey, her coins were abruptly stolen, prompting a swift summons for Yennefer. Deeply uneasy with Yennefer's stance towards the sorceresses of Aretuza, Ciri perceived their support as tantamount to selling one's soul. Radovid, cognizant of the perpetrator behind the manipulation that culminated in Hedwig's demise, was powerless to formally confront Dijkstra. His allegiance, forged under the assumption that Lydia was unassociated with Nilfgaard, has left Rience weary of her directives and yearning for greater independence. Gallatin, in an inadvertent move, sealed Cahir's fate by revealing Francesca's disregard for Emhyr's demands in her quest for a girl, presumably Ciri. In a tragic bid to curry favor with Emhyr, Cahir brutally slew Gallatin, leaving him haunted by his actions and choosing to shatter a mirror rather than confront his reflection. Eredin, the group's commander, ominously labeled Ciri as death itself, extending an invitation to join them, thrusting her into a precarious situation. Thankfully, Geralt arrived in a dramatic fashion, saving her just in the nick of time.
