Three Women – Season 1 Episode 7 1

Meanwhile, Lina receives urgent messages from Aidan, summoning her to meet him. However, Lina's sister refuses to babysit her children, having overheard from Ed that Lina plans to leave him. Desperate and at her wits' end, Lina seeks refuge at Gia's place, where she encounters Jack. With Lina heading out to meet Aidan, Gia and Jack generously take charge of Lina's kids.

In the confines of their car, Lina and Aidan engage in a passionate encounter. Post-coital, Aidan assures Lina that their relationship transcends mere physical intimacy. Lina, anticipating her impending singledom, tries to reassure Aidan that he needn't fear hurting her.

Back at home, Gia receives shocking news: she's pregnant again. Given their financial constraints, Gia opts to sell some of her precious jewelry. Jack, however, sells his car to repurchase Gia's mother's cherished necklace, recognizing its immense sentimental value to her. Although Gia harbors doubts about welcoming another child, Jack persuades her otherwise.

As Lina's mother's birthday approaches, the family invites Ed, but Lina's anger flares upon seeing him, prompting her to seek solace with Gia. Lina's lack of boundaries forces Gia to promise a meeting at the tanning salon the following day. Amidst their conversation, a tornado warning sounds, prompting both Gia and Lina to seek shelter in the basement. Here, Lina learns about Gia's pregnancy and confesses her own harrowing experience of being drugged and raped in high school. Gia realizes that Lina's trauma surpasses unreciprocated love, but Lina mistakes Aidan as the source of her pain.

The conversation escalates into a heated altercation. That evening, Gia struggles to breathe and rushes to the hospital. There, she receives devastating news: she has lung cancer. The treatment, however, poses risks to the baby. Hence, Gia decides to postpone her treatment until after the baby's birth. Elsewhere, Lina confronts Aidan about school rumors concerning her, but his lack of recall deepens her heartache.

Determined to seek treatment, Gia decides to abandon Jack in Indiana. Jack's fury is palpable, but Gia remains resolute, promising to call once the baby arrives. Without transportation, Gia reaches out to Lina for a ride to the bus station. They reconcile, offering heartfelt apologies to each other.

In the closing scene, Sloane encounters Gia, confessing her regret for hurting the person she loves most deeply.
