In the eleventh episode of Season 3 of "To Your Eternity," Fushi confronts the false Izumi, using the roots from the ground to entrap her, filling her body with them as he prepares to execute her with the molten metal of Earth. However, Mizuha, the Nokker's adopted daughter, cries out in distress, pleading with Fushi to stop. Despite knowing that this isn't her biological mother, Mizuha finds comfort in the Nokker's love for her, which feels more genuine than any affection shown by her own parents.

To Your Eternity – Season 3 Episode 11 1

Fushi hesitates at the thought of killing these creatures, but ultimately frees them out of a sense of compassion. Meanwhile, the real Izumi's spirit weeps as she witnesses this scene from afar.

The next day, Fushi shares his story with Bon, Aoki, and Satoru, who are also torn by conflicting emotions but do not blame him for not killing the Nokker at that moment. They come up with a plan to go after the enemy boss, and Bon receives a message from his spirit friends that forces them to go elsewhere for a while.

The group follows Mimori, the Nokker who has Mizuha in a half-awakened state within a metal fortress—a base for their kind. Mimori then gives Mizuha one of Fushi's bodies. Aoki is particularly shocked by this revelation but wants Fushi to be the hero and separate Mizuha from the Nokker's influence. However, Izumi herself believes it's too late.

When she was younger, her father forced her to become a part of the Nokker's world, and when she joined, she made her parents proud. But after her mother's death, everything began to unravel. On the day of her father's wake, he presented her to another man, hoping she would marry him to create a stronger next generation. This finally pushed her over the edge and made her decide to escape that life. She married someone else, had Mizuha, and was ready to be truly happy. However, her past still haunted her. She wanted her daughter to be better than anyone else, so she made Mizuha attend every kind of class and training.

As she beamed with pride, her husband, in a moment of indiscretion, revealed that Mizuha was the perfect vessel for the cult's leader. Upon realizing that her husband was an integral part of this sinister group, she felt a surge of despair that made her wish to perish for the first time. This wish allowed the Nokker to gain access to her, and from that moment on, she began to lose her memories and faint sporadically. These were the telltale signs of the Nokker's insidious control. One day, as she fainted, she overheard the creature wielding her daughter's body, discussing its objectives.

As Izumi reflected on all that had transpired, she realized that there was nothing she could do to save Mizuha. Her heart heavy with defeat, she chose to leave. In the meantime, the Nokker's grip on her daughter's body grew stronger by the day.

Suddenly, the girl's arm moved on its own and began to scrawl a message. The words "hello" appeared on the paper, eliciting tears from her family members and even Mizuha. They were overjoyed to see that the Nokker was growing stronger within their midst.
