Trigger – K-Drama Episode 6 1

In the contemporary timeline, Jung-man confronts Seok-ho, steadfastly denying any involvement with U-tae. Seok-ho, feigning belief in Jung-man's fabrication, dismisses him. Once outside, Jung-man instructs his subordinates to expedite their search for the concealed weapons, aware that Seok-ho is onto their trail.

At school, Seong-jun and his cronies relentlessly gang up on Gyu-jin, their bullying unnoticed by a passive teacher. After school bell rings, Yeong-dun offers Gyu-jin solace over a meal. Elsewhere, Captain Seo and Lee Do delve deeper into the address list, their efforts yielding over 20 pages, indicating a staggering number of armed individuals across the region.

At the hospital, Lee Do updates Moon-baek via text about their progress with the address list, assuring him of ongoing efforts. Moon-baek, cautious, instructs his men to steer clear of Lee Do, viewing him as a crucial piece in his intricate chess game. Meanwhile, Moon-baek sets his sights on activating another pawn: Gyu-jin and Yeong-dong, two impressionable high schoolers.

Staging a dramatic altercation near the eatery where the youths dine, Moon-baek exploits a nearby BB gun shooting range to put on a spectacular display. He effortlessly dispatches a mock group of delinquents armed solely with a BB gun, captivating the awe-struck high schoolers.

Following this mesmerizing spectacle, Gyu-jin, inspired, begs Moon-baek to instruct him in the art of weaponry. Moon-baek obliges, leading both teenagers into the shooting range. He demonstrates how empowering it can feel to confront oppressors with firearms, planting seeds of defiance and power in their impressionable minds.

The following morning, Moon-baek, accompanied by Seok-ho, dialed Mr. Kim's phone. He urged Mr. Kim to inspect the storage room for boxes adorned with red stickers, a room already overflowing with such containers. As Seok-ho pried open one of these boxes, his eyes widened in astonishment upon discovering a firearm within. Moon-baek coldly reminded Seok-ho that, having eliminated Mr. Kim, he now bore the responsibility of distributing these deadly weapons. He further hinted that Jung-man was actively seeking these guns, making Seok-ho aware of his pivotal role in this dangerous game.

Elsewhere, Gyu-jin made a decisive move, retrieving the gun he had concealed in his room. Concurrently, the gun distributors had devised ingenious methods for their dissemination, much to Moon-baek's amazement at the ease of delivery in South Korea. As Gyu-jin embraced his mother goodbye that morning, Moon-baek received an alarming update: a high school student was making his way to school armed.

Amidst the ongoing delivery of firearms, Moon-baek stumbled upon Lee Do with his list in hand. A particular name, that of a high school student, raised his suspicions. Sensing the urgency, Moon-baek suggested they investigate further. Lee Do promptly contacted Captain Seo and a schoolteacher he had met at a workshop on school violence, asking them to investigate the potential student threat. The teacher swiftly scanned the student rolls and identified Yeong-dung as the armed student.

Meanwhile, oblivious to the impending peril within their school walls, Seong-jun and his bullying cronies continued to intimidate and harass the weaker students. On his way back to class, Gyu-jin witnessed Yeong-dung being brutalized. In a rush, he darted to his classroom to retrieve his gun, only to find Seong-jun had beaten him to it, using it to threaten him. However, Gyu-jin's gun turned out to be a BB gun loaded with silver pellets. Just as Seong-jun prepared to fire, distant gunshots echoed through the air.

Yeong-dung, in a fit of rage, had sealed the school doors shut, trapping the students inside. Panic ensued as students desperately searched for an escape route, only to find all exits locked. Yeong-dung, now unrestrained, embarked on a ruthless killing spree. He handed Gyu-jin a gun, urging him to seek revenge by wiping out the entire school. The school descended into anarchy, with students scrambling for a way out amidst the chaos and Yeong-dung's relentless onslaught.

Lee Do and Moon-baek arrived first on the scene, their prompt action shattering one of the glass doors to rescue several students trapped inside the building. In the meantime, Yeong-dung heroically steered the remaining students towards the safety of the library's confines, among them the teacher who had remained indifferent to the bullying plaguing the school. The teacher, realizing the gravity of the situation, attempted to engage Yeong-dung in conversation, pledging to make amends. Yeong-dung's mind flashed back to the time he had sought refuge in the teacher's authority, only to be met with deaf ears. Yet, today was not a day for reconciliation; Yeong-dung's sole intent was vengeance against those who had bullied him. He demanded that the students betray their tormentors, promising clemency for the rest.

As Yeong-dung approached Seung-jun, Lee Do burst into the scene, swiftly overpowering him. However, Lee Do's timely intervention couldn't spare Seung-jun, as another gunshot rang out, signaling Gyu-jin's relentless pursuit. From afar, Moon-baek observed the unfolding drama with a sinister satisfaction.
