Twisted Metal – Season 2 Episode 4

Published: Sep 04 2025

The fourth installment of Twisted Metal's second season kicks off a day prior to the eagerly anticipated tournament, as John Doe and his compatriots arrive at the notorious Diesel City. However, the locale is shrouded in stringent security, rendering the acquisition of their desired weaponry a formidable challenge. Diesel City caters exclusively to buyers, necessitating the exchange of any gas brought in for currency. The cream of the crop in armaments, S-tier weapons capable of turning the tide of battle, lies concealed deep within the Emperor’s inner sanctum, safeguarded behind a formidable vault door. Unlocking this formidable barrier presents the most formidable obstacle, with the mechanism controlling it strategically positioned in the crow’s nest.

Twisted Metal – Season 2 Episode 4 1

To overcome this hurdle, the group hatches an ingenious plan to infiltrate the premises by masquerading as influential businessmen and women. Dollface takes the lead, tasked with ascending to the crow’s nest, while Mayhem assumes the role of the getaway driver, ready to facilitate a swift exit.

After transforming their appearances, the gang makes their entrance, granted a mere thirty minutes to reach the vault. Yet, they are not alone in their quest; Sweet Tooth is also present, seeking to bolster his arsenal for the upcoming tournament. Stu, sensing an uneasy atmosphere, warns Sweet Tooth to tread carefully, especially with guards keeping a vigilant eye on every move. Undeterred, Sweet Tooth squanders his funds on acquiring a dramatic cape, purportedly once owned by Dracula, which he believes will allow him to eliminate threats discreetly.

Meanwhile, Count Sweet Tooth embarks on a hunt, leaving Stu to be apprehended by the vigilant guards. John and Quiet, on the other hand, struggle to blend in among the opulent patrons, indulging in copious amounts of alcohol and failing to maintain a low profile. Close shaves abound, especially as John’s disdain for the sinister array of weaponry on display grows, finding it hard to fathom the audacity of the individuals present.

Summoned to indulge in what's euphemistically termed "playtime" (more on the intriguing details later), Quiet and John find themselves unexpectedly plunged into a chaotic orgy, where everyone has donned the masks of Insiders and Outsiders in an elaborate role-playing scenario. However, amidst this surreal tableau, there stands a genuine Outsider, all too ready to participate—none other than Stu, presented as if on a platter for their amusement.

With all eyes glued to Stu's unexpected presence, an unconventional alliance forms between Count Sweet Tooth and Dollface. They make their way to the crow's nest with the singular goal of unlocking the vault, a mission that takes an unexpected turn as they clash at the controls. Meanwhile, Quiet and John, caught up in their own moment of passion, lose sight of their objective amidst their heated liaison within the vault.

Suddenly, a grenade explodes, engulfing the area in a blazing inferno. In the chaos, Stu, who miraculously evades the orgiastic frenzy, manages to sneak back in and arm himself, along with Sweet Tooth, with an assortment of deadly weapons. As they slip away into the night, the place crumbles into flames.

Elsewhere, Dollface, having successfully subdued Sweet Tooth, flees the city with Mayhem aboard a roaring quad bike. Meanwhile, Sweet Tooth and Stu secure the most valuable loot, including Napalm Cones and an arsenal of treacherous, spiked grenades.

As for Quiet and John, they emerge with their own share of firepower: armor-piercing bullets, an EMP, and the infamous Boomerang Missiles, the likes of which were foreshadowed earlier.

However, in an unexpected turn of events, Dollface makes a bold decision to enter the tournament herself, aiming to turn the tide and wield the EMP to their advantage. As the tournament stands on the brink of commencement, anticipation builds: who among them will ultimately emerge victorious?
