The fourteenth episode of Typhoon Family opens with a poignant flashback to nine years ago, where Pyo Bak-ho finds himself teetering on the brink of financial ruin. Desperate for a loan to save his business, he makes a beeline for Typhoon Trading and presents Kang Jin-young with a promissory note for a 40 million Won loan.

Presently, Kang Tae-poong looms over Bak-ho, wielding the promissory note as leverage. He demands that Bak-ho trade the gloves in exchange for returning the note before Typhoon Trading's payment for the gloves arrives. Bak-ho adds a few more conditions to the mix, promising to resign from Typhoon Trading and relinquish his position as CEO if Tae-poong fails to meet his end of the bargain. Tae-poong signs the guarantee, binding himself to these terms.
As Tae-poong sprints to Pyo Merchant Marine's warehouse to collect the gloves, Hyun-jun raises a ruckus. But Mi-seon swiftly intervenes, slapping him and dragging him away. She understands the gravity of the situation and reassures him that his father would be proud of his efforts.
Back at the office, the team learns with relief that the insurance company will compensate them for the fire. Although they know it was arson, there's no concrete evidence linking it to Hyun-jun. At this moment, Cha Seon-taek makes an appearance on her usual work route. The team members are visibly irked by her presence, and Tae-poong urges her to at least offer an apology, both for her own sake and for her father's legacy. However, she can't bring herself to do it.
That night, Tae-poong sneaks into their old office in search of the promissory note but gets caught by the police for trespassing. Mi-seon comes to bail him out and they spend some time together. Tae-poong shows her his new cell phone and even gifts her a brand new one! As they return to their rooms, they start texting each other, with Mi-seon suggesting a short trip to see the sea since Beom has never seen it before.
As Bak-ho receives an envelope filled with cash from Seon-taek, it becomes clear that she sold her house to pay him back. She informs Manager Ha that Tae-poong is unaware of the 30% of company shares she promised Kang Ji-young. As Manager Ha exits the room, Hyun-jun storms in, furious at how he's been treated. Bak-ho dismisses him as an idiot, not as smart as Tae-poong, and orders him to go abroad for a year. In a rage, Hyun-jun hits his father, knocking him unconscious, and drags him to a storage container, ordering him to stay there until he sorts out the issue with Tae-poong.
At the pub, Nam-mo and Eul-nyeo dine together. Nam-mo realizes he's never sung for her before and plays one of his songs, bringing Eul-nyeo to tears as she reflects on his growth.
The next day, Tae-poong, Mi-seon, Nam-mo, Mi-ho, and Beom head out to the sea. Beom marvels at the vastness of the ocean while everyone enjoys themselves. Despite the beauty around them, Tae-poong can't shake his thoughts about work. Mi-seon distracts him by making him collect clams. Later, they sit around a campfire, and Mi-seon narrates a horror story. When Mi-seon's phone rings, she quickly cuts the call and pulls Mi-ho aside to tell her that her boyfriend Tae-min is looking for her. Mi-ho doesn't seem surprised and explains that she wants to tell him something.
Overhearing this conversation, Nam-mo becomes upset. He also overhears Mi-ho talking to Tae-min on the phone later but misunderstands it. As they sleep in the car due to the small tents, Tae-poong can't sleep and starts looking for the promissory note. Instead, he finds one of his old report cards. Mi-seon realizes he won't be asleep and joins him. This time, he tells her that his position as CEO is at stake.
A flashback shows Tae-poong promising the others that they'll move back to the old office. After the beach holiday, the team is able to use the money from the gloves to move back! However, it's also the day that Tae-poong was supposed to give Bak-ho the promissory note, and they haven't found it yet. He and Mi-seon head to Bak-ho's office but find Hyun-jun instead. Tae-poong writes a note on the wall as proof that he came to the office on the set date.
As they return to the office, the team celebrates the return of Typhoon Trading. However, the episode ends with Bae Song-jung getting a call saying that his father is about to commit suicide.
