Episode 3 of WandaVision takes us on a time-leap journey to the vibrant 1960s, a realm of colorful sitcoms. Within four months of pregnancy, Wanda's journey seems to be progressing at an unprecedented speed. As Vision delves into the topic of nesting, Wanda can already feel the baby's kicks, and suddenly, she experiences Braxton Hicks contractions. This mysterious occurrence triggers a blackout across the neighborhood, sensed only by Vision. As he sits beside her, he whispers gravely that something is amiss.
But just as before, the narrative rewinds, replaying the conversation with both players maintaining their roles. Unexpectedly, Wanda's waters break, prompting Scarlet Witch to conjure a storm within the apartment, soaking everything in its wake. Jolene, now alias "Foxy," arrives amidst the chaos, but Wanda struggles to conceal her pregnancy amidst the contractions that manifest as bursts of magic across the apartment.
Paintings spin, the vacuum cleaner turns on by itself, and a stork wanders aimlessly in the room. Determined, Wanda pushes twice... and delivers a baby boy into the world. If only childbirth was always this swift and painless! However, there's a twist in the tale. A second baby is revealed, a nod perhaps to Scarlet Witch's twin past. As she sings gently to her newborns, Geraldine breaks character and mentions how her brother fell victim to Ultron's wrath.
Wanda notices a necklace around Geraldine's neck and demands to know who she truly is. The air is tense, and Scarlet Witch banishes the woman from the sitcom, casting her into a vast field enclosed by electrified fences and scattered bunkers. The plot thickens, indeed!
