Tragically, her mother, who passed away two years prior, remained beyond its reach. Transitioning to the S.W.O.R.D. Headquarters, Monica arrives for her shift, greeting Director Tyler, who updates her on the current state of affairs. Space is brimming with hazards, yet after recent occurrences, their vigilance and exhaustion are unparalleled. Half of their remaining soldiers are now frazzled, whereas Monica remains steadfast, dedicated to her duty. However, she is currently grounded, adhering to her mother's wishes.

Her mission leads her to Westview, where a missing person case awaits. There, she encounters Agent Woo, who alongside other officers, reveals that Westview is not merely a missing person, but an entire town that seems to have vanished. With a toy helicopter reminiscent of Episode 2, Monica sends it soaring into the town, but it abruptly disappears from sight.

It transpires that the entire town is enveloped by an enigmatic energy field. As Monica reaches out to touch it, she is abruptly pulled inside. Fast-forwarding 24 hours, a response team is assembled outside the field, responding to a signal emanating from within. They collect vintage televisions to broadcast a message, but Woo's concern is palpable, given their limited knowledge of this mysterious energy field and its potential for exponential growth. Nevertheless, they gather, watching as Wanda and Vision's sitcom unfolds.

Tyler rallies the troops, seeking to decipher the universe's puzzling creation of a sitcom for two Avengers. As the camera pans out, echoing Episode 1's climax, S.W.O.R.D.'s efforts to comprehend this phenomenon are evident.

Episode 2 deepens the mystery behind the screens, FBI agents collaborating to uncover detailed files on numerous individuals, Monica among them, alias Geraldine. Darcy postulates a theory to transmit her own signal onto Wanda's frequency and executes it. As we discover, the inhabitants within this sitcom are actual people, now entrapped.

Catching up with the previous episode's climax, Scarlet Witch violently ejects Monica from the energy field. However, Wanda seems torn, glimpsing Vision as a distorted, mutilated corpse, yet when she looks again, he is restored to his original form. What could be the cause of this bizarre occurrence?
