Episode 2 of "Weak Hero Class 2" kicks off by unveiling two fresh faces: Park Hu-min and Go Hyun-tak, dynamic members of the school's basketball team. Amidst the ongoing altercation between Si-eun and Hyo-man in Class 4, Hyun-tak and his cronies grumble about their exclusion from the basketball tournament, a consequence of Hu-min's suspension.
As Hyun-tak heads towards a confrontation with a teacher regarding their tournament participation, he senses the disturbance and trails the curious onlookers to Class 4. Meanwhile, Si-eun endures Hyo-man's relentless punches without retaliating, cleverly dodging one to send Hyo-man into a fit of rage. Hyun-tak intervenes, halting Hyo-man's assault. A verbal spat ensues, with Hyo-man insulting Hyun-tak as Hu-min's lackey. Enraged, Hyun-tak unleashes a karate back kick, grazing Hyo-man's nose but leaving him petrified with fear. Hyun-tak warns Hyo-man that one kick is all it takes to bring him down, after which Hyo-man吼叫着离开了教室, further fuming but ultimately retreating.
Si-eun ignores Hyun-tak and assists Jun-tae to the nurse's office, but Jun-tae refuses, explaining that visiting the nurse would only escalate matters and draw Hyo-man's wrath, perpetuating their vicious cycle of abuse. Si-eun inquiries about Jun-tae's motive behind returning the phones, to which Jun-tae replies with a whimsical reference to Newton's third law. Though Si-eun wishes to clarify the misconception, Jun-tae's friends interrupt, and Si-eun discreetly exits.
Later, Hyun-tak catches snippets of gossip about Si-eun from fellow students, sparking his curiosity. They recount tales of Si-eun's past exploits, which Hyun-tak initially dismisses as fabrications from a group of smoking delinquents. Nevertheless, Hyun-tak's fascination with Si-eun lingers.
After school, Jun-tae chases after Si-eun, handing him lutein and magnesium pills. He elucidates that lutein aids concentration while magnesium promotes better sleep. Jun-tae expresses gratitude for Si-eun's help and departs. That night, Si-eun opts for Jun-tae's pills instead of his usual sleeping aids, marking a subtle shift in his routine.
The following day, Si-eun displayed a heightened awareness at school, opting to share his lunch break with Jun-tae. He expressed his gratitude to Jun-tae for the medication, which had undoubtedly boosted his spirits. Post-lunch, they lingered around, observing Hyun-tak and his cronies engage in a spirited basketball game. As if engaging in casual chatter, Hyo-man strolled over to them, subtly revealing that Hyun-tak harbored intentions of confronting Si-eun physically. Si-eun's piercing gaze caught Hyun-tak's attention, while Hyo-man nonchalantly mentioned their burgeoning friendship to Hyun-tak.
Before the fifth class began, Jun-tae announced his intent to visit the restroom. However, before he could make his way there, Hyo-man's gang forcefully diverted his path. Meanwhile, Hyun-tak and his friends exited their locker room post-lunch, only to find their space vandalized by Hyo-man's meddling. Jun-tae didn't reappear until the school day concluded, prompting Hyo-man to inform Si-eun that Hyun-tak was dragging Jun-tae towards the gym room. Upon locating Jun-tae imprisoned in a locker since lunch, Si-eun realized Hyo-man's sinister hand behind this ordeal.
When Hyun-tak was apprised that Si-eun had supposedly wrecked the clubroom and sought a confrontation, he flew into a rage, rushing to confront Si-eun. Catching Si-eun exiting the clubroom, Hyun-tak erroneously accused him of the destruction. Elsewhere, Hyo-man and his cohort devised strategies to capitalize on the fight they had orchestrated between Hyun-tak and Si-eun.
On the journey home, Si-eun deliberately took the perilous shortcut frequented by bullies. Fully aware of the potential consequences, he reasoned that detouring would be futile. As anticipated, Hyun-tak confronted Si-eun on this treacherous path. Recognizing Hyun-tak's inflexibility, Si-eun challenged him to a fight.
Hyun-tak accused Si-eun of hypocrisy, portraying himself as virtuous while allegedly ruining Su-ho's life during his final school days. Mentioning Su-ho's coma further enraged Si-eun, escalating into a fierce altercation between them. Shortly thereafter, Hyo-man and his lackeys arrived on the scene. Finding themselves outnumbered, Hyun-tak and Si-eun reluctantly allied to fend off the bullies.
Suddenly, Park Hu-min makes his presence known, causing the bullies to shrink back in fear. Hyo-man, who was just about to strike Si-eun with a baseball bat, lets it fall from his grasp as he attempts to appeal to Hu-min's mercy. Without warning, Hu-min executes a powerful slam dunk, using his basketball to collide with Hyo-man's head, rendering him unconscious. Si-eun is left in awe, admiring the precision of Hu-min's move. Hu-min inquiries about Si-eun's identity, as he has never laid eyes on him before, yet he acknowledges that Si-eun possesses a certain amount of courage.
