Wednesday – Season 2 Episode 2 1

As Wednesday makes her way back to school, a detour leads her to Galpin's residence, where she encounters a grim sight – Galpin, a victim to the ruthless crows, lies lifeless. Desperate to uncover clues before the authorities arrive, Wednesday searches frantically but to no avail. Even her psychic prowess fails her in this moment of need.

The police, with Sheriff Santiago at the helm, soon descend upon the scene and take Wednesday into custody. Santiago's curiosity piques over Galpin's missing phone as he interrogates her, but Wednesday remains steadfastly silent, suspecting Tyler might be behind his father's demise. Santiago retorts that Tyler remains securely incarcerated. Gomez arrives, donning the role of Wednesday's legal counsel, and secures her release on bail.

During the journey back, Gomez seeks to decipher Wednesday's recent actions. Wednesday's spirits dampen further upon learning that her parents intend to extend their stay. She speculates that her mother's anxiety stems from fears of Wednesday succumbing to a fate similar to her aunt Ophelia's. However, Gomez remains tight-lipped about the fateful past that shrouds Morticia's sister.

The subsequent day brings an unexpected revelation for Eugene: Pugsley has resurrected the boy from legend. Pugsley has temporarily quartered the beast in Eugene's bee shed, dubbing it Slurp. United by this peculiar turn of events, they decide upon the moniker, setting the stage for further adventures intertwined with mystery and wonder.

On Wednesday, she endeavors to uncover answers within Goody's tome, her curiosity piqued. She implores Thing to guard the secret of her diminishing abilities and Enid's impending peril with utmost discretion. Upon her arrival at the dormitory, Wednesday is met with a harrowing sight: Enid, lying motionless in a pool of crimson, her throat savagely slit. However, this grim tableau proves to be mere mischief, as it coincides with the dreaded Prank Day. Enid, initially convinced that Wednesday had left an eyeball on her pillow as part of the joke, soon realizes it was likely another sinister gift from their elusive stalker.

As they confer, the stalker taunts them with a message directed at Enid. Dialing the number reveals Galpin's voicemail, leaving Enid astounded by Wednesday's uncanny involvement in yet another murder mystery. Wednesday proposes that Enid remain confined to their room for her safety while she delves into unraveling the enigma. She attempts to divine the eyeball's secrets through psychic means, but to no avail.

Elsewhere, Ajax witnesses Enid growing close to Bruno, sparking jealousy. With Pugsley and Eugene's assistance, he hatches a scheme to exact revenge on Bruno. Meanwhile, the rest of the student body revels in the antics of Prank Day, oblivious to the undercurrents of danger.

Wednesday seeks out Dort and a fellow educator, inquiring about outcasts who wield command over birds. The teacher enlightens her, terming such beings as 'Avian,' though clarifying they haven't been encountered at Nevermore for ages.

Elsewhere, Bianca convenes with Morticia in her capacity as the gala fundraising student liaison. Their discussion about Wednesday segues into a poignant exchange about their tumultuous relationships with their mothers. Bianca urges Morticia to solicit a donation from her mother, but Morticia steadfastly refuses, her wounds from the past still raw.

Back at school, Slurp breaks free from its confines, causing a stir. Wednesday seizes the moment, appropriating Enid's driver's education consent form to procure a ride to Willow Hill. Meanwhile, Morticia pays a visit to the dorm, chiding Thing for withholding crucial information. Thing, feeling undervalued, retorts that he is often treated like a mere servant. Morticia, acknowledging her fault, offers an apology and confiscates Goody's book, determined to uncover its secrets.

On Wednesday, the driving instructor at the school bore the brunt of her unique driving prowess as she maneuvered her way to Willow Hill. There, she encountered Dr. Fairburn, Tyler's psychiatrist, who had anticipated her visit with a mix of foresight and dread. Fairburn, frustrated by his inability to reach Tyler and hindered by Thornhill's evasiveness from a different institution, beseeched Wednesday for assistance.

The confrontation with Tyler unfolded precisely as anticipated. He believed Wednesday had been seduced by his dark aura, merely catching a stroke of luck rather than demonstrating genuine intellect. Wednesday imparted the solemn news of Galpin's demise, but Tyler, unmoved, vowed to terminate Enid upon his liberation. This pronouncement incited Wednesday, prompting her to belittle him, which in turn caused Tyler to lose his composure, teetering on the brink of his monstrous alter-ego.

At school, Eugene imparted the disturbing news of Slurp's escape to Pugsley, while Enid discovered a parcel meant for Thing, her heart sinking upon realizing the Addams family had overlooked his birthday. As she consoled him, an unknown perpetrator confined Thing within his tiny abode and abducted Enid alongside Bruno. Concurrently, Dort compelled Bianca to wield her siren allure upon Morticia, intending to coax a donation from her mother. However, Bianca found herself powerless against Dort, thanks to a talisman he possessed.

As evening descended, Wednesday arrived at her dorm to discover Thing imprisoned and Enid missing. A sinister caller granted her a mere thirty minutes to secure Enid and Bruno's safety, leaving a clue outside her door. En route to their rescue, Wednesday crossed paths with Capri, who extended an invitation to join her orchestra for the upcoming gala. Though Wednesday politely declined, Capri persisted, and their exchange inadvertently provided Wednesday with a vital hint.

She hurried to the music room and played the note inscribed on the clue card, causing a mysterious door to swing open. Wednesday and Thing ventured through, unaware of a stealthy follower lurking in their wake. The corridor led them to the forsaken Iago Tower, where Enid and Bruno were shackled, their lives hanging by a thread as a Rain of Knives loomed overhead. Despite acknowledging Wednesday's role in their predicament, Enid harbored no resentment.

Wednesday's timely arrival and deciphering of the clue narrowly spared Enid and Bruno from a grim fate. Their stalker, revealing herself as another adoring fan of Wednesday's, had orchestrated this elaborate charade using her invisibility skills to garner her idol's attention. Enid, however, remained unimpressed by Agnes's dramatic antics.

Elsewhere, Bianca pays a visit to Morticia and employs her mystical abilities to persuade the latter to address her as mother. Later on, Wednesday, filled with remorse, extends an apology to Thing for neglecting his birthday and presents him with a thoughtful gift. However, her mood takes a dark turn when she discovers that her mother has taken the precious Goody book. Meanwhile, a crow perches outside the window, keeping a vigilant watch over Wednesday's every move. The episode draws to a close with a dramatic twist as Slurp launches a sudden and fatal attack on the driving school instructor.
