Who Killed Sara? – Season 2 Episode 3 1

In the present day, Rodolfo confronts his father with a bombshell revelation: Sara's pregnancy. As he uncovers the truth of his own vasectomy, Rodolfo embarks on a quest to unravel the mystery of the unborn child's father. His search abruptly halts, however, when realization dawns that Cesar stands at the center of this convoluted web. Mariana, too, confronts her husband, her voice laced with concern and uncertainty, demanding answers about the man she married, urging him to tread carefully.

Unbeknownst to this duo, a masked nurse eavesdrops from the shadows, her presence a silent witness to their troubled exchanges.

As Mariana makes her way to Elisa's bedside, she finds Alex already there, his eyes probing for answers. He presses Mariana for the truth about the identity of Sara's unborn child, and she replies, her voice steady but deceitful, claiming it was Nicandro's.

Elsewhere, Chema and Clara's peaceful moment is shattered by the unannounced arrival of Moncho, his demands for cash echoing through their home like a death knell. Concurrently, Marifer arrives at Alex's abode, bearing the bitter truth about Sara's past, a revelation that echoes the haunting flashbacks from earlier.

Finally, Elisa emerges from the hospital, but her liberation is tinged with discontent. She confronts Alex, her words sharp as she chastises him for his quest for justice, warning that his path is fraught with danger. Sensing Alex's fragile mental state, Elisa makes a heartrending decision – to distance herself from the vengeful path he's embarked upon, seeking solace in a world free from the shadows of the past.

Just as Alex prepares to bid her farewell, he confesses that he possesses an abundance of irrefutable evidence, including the transaction with Flor, to bring Cesar to justice. Elisa, after much contemplation, finally makes her decision and clicks the send button on the computer, a gesture that betrays her unwavering allegiance to Alex, even as their paths diverge at this juncture. With a heavy heart, she turns to leave, exchanging their final words amidst the realization that their paths have forked.

Flashbacks unravel, painting a vivid picture of Marifer confronting Sara with damning evidence tied to Abel. Despite Marifer's earnest attempts to awaken Sara's senses, she remains steadfast in her belief of a vast conspiracy, fleeing the scene. Sara, resolute, makes her way to the hospital alone, determined to confront Abel face to face.

In a private moment, Abel bares his soul, confessing the truth that he is indeed her father. He pleads with her to secure funds for his escape, but their conversation is cut short by the sudden arrival of a nurse, who escorts him away.

Switching back to the present, Cesar's world shatters as he makes a momentous call to the police, exposing Sergio as a murderer. The casino erupts into chaos, while Alex, from the comfort of his home, watches with a triumphant grin on his face as the underground lair housing the women is uncovered, and Sergio's escape at the airport is thwarted.

Meanwhile, Cesar sits at his desk, a handgun in hand, tears streaming down his cheeks, reflecting the depth of his despair. The drama escalates further when Moncho storms into Chema's abode, fueled by rage upon discovering Clara in bed with Chema. Without hesitation, Chema retaliates, grabbing a knife and plunging it into Moncho's back, the action filled with a raw, primal fury.
