Who Killed Sara? – Season 2 Episode 4 1

Unbeknownst to Sara, Marifer lurks in the shadows, a silent sentinel, her gaze piercing through binoculars from afar. She observes it all, her presence a lurking, ominous presence, casting a pall over the proceedings.

In another flashback, tensions escalate as Nicandro confronts Sara about the vandalism on his car. But Sara, with her cunning charm, turns the tables, seducing him into a truce, a deal forged in the heat of the moment. However, Marifer's suspicions are aroused, and she confronts Nicandro afterward, calling him out for his actions. As he departs, Marifer climbs the stairs to find Sara perched on the edge of her bed, gleefully tallying the money she's extracted from him, her satisfaction palpable.

Jumping to the present, six months have flown by, and the clock is ticking. With only a week left to gather evidence before Alex's fate is sealed behind bars, Lorenzo vows to stretch every inch of time possible, while Cesar's mysterious disappearance adds another layer of complexity to the puzzle.

Meanwhile, Sergio, imprisoned but not silenced, orchestrates a daring escape, dispatching a guard in cold blood and slipping into the laundry room undetected. A shocking oversight in security allows him to blend into the routine, slipping away under the noses of unsuspecting staff who wheel out their carts oblivious to the drama that's just unfolded. Sergio's gratitude to the complicit laundry workers, bribed into aiding his escape, echoes through the empty corridors as he fades into the night.

Alex's relentless pursuit of the truth takes a treacherous turn as he reaches out to Marifer, disguised as Diana the Huntress, seeking a meeting. Venturing out under cover of darkness, his journey is cut short by a violent car crash, the realization of being pursued sending his heart racing. The stakes have never been higher, and the race against time has never been more urgent.

Despite the chaotic scene that greeted him, with bodies scattered haphazardly, some exposed and the room in disarray, Alex persevered and reached the coroner's office. There, amidst the grim surroundings, he located Abel's files, swiftly snapping photographs before slipping away. This was the man whose lifeless form he had encountered in the backyard, now reduced to mere paperwork.

Alex promptly messaged Diana, who succinctly informed him that their meeting was imminent.

Elsewhere, tensions flared between Chema and Lorenzo, both haunted by nightmares stemming from Moncho's brutal murder. Chema, seeking solace, eventually sought out Elisa, fresh from her European escapade. He broke down in her embrace, confessing Lorenzo's departure and the mounting chaos that ensued.

To compound their woes, Lorenzo arrived with a bombshell: the developers had embarked on a new construction project, right where Moncho lay buried, plunging the duo into a maelstrom of trouble.

As Elisa ventured outdoors, Sergio, accompanied by his henchmen, abducted her, making a swift getaway. Simultaneously, Alex was rendered unconscious, only to awaken to find Cesar anxiously awaiting him. With Sergio operating solo, Cesar's desperation for Alex's aid in rescuing his daughter was palpable. He even went so far as to plead, dropping to his knees in humiliation, clutching a videotape that incriminated Sergio.

But the police's untimely arrival forced Cesar's hand. In a desperate bid to save Elisa, he rushed out, gun in hand, instructing Alex to find his daughter before turning the weapon on himself, ending his life with a devastating shot to the head. The scene was fraught with emotion, the gravity of Cesar's sacrifice weighing heavily on all who witnessed it.
