Will Trent – Season 1 Episode 11 1

To infiltrate CK's circle, Trent has meticulously crafted the persona of Bill Black, hoping to catch the syndicate's attention. His sole conduit to CK is Dante, and amidst the deception, Trent subtly courts Dante's cousin, Rosa, banking on her burgeoning infatuation to further his objectives.

After weeks of relentless effort, Trent's patience pays off when Dante extends an invitation for him to participate in a cash drop with CK the very next day. A glimmer of hope ignites within Trent; the case is finally gaining traction. Under the guise of his probation officer, Faith periodically reaches out to Trent, providing him with a semblance of normalcy. He briefs her about the impending encounter with CK, while she updates him on Angie, whose turmoil precedes Trent's undercover assignment.

Prior to his deployment, a stormy confrontation erupted between Trent and Angie after he discovered drugs in their home. Angie vehemently protested her innocence, disposing of the narcotics, yet Trent's skepticism lingered, sensing her deceit.

Later that evening, Trent joins Dante and Gabriel (Rosa's brother) for dinner at Rosa's place. As they probe deeper into the enigmatic Bill Black, Trent carefully disseminates morsels of misinformation while subtly extracting details about them. A touching revelation unfolds: Rosa aspires to attend nursing school to care for her ailing father.

The following morning, Trent and Dante venture out to execute the cash drop, anticipation electric in the air. Instead, they are met with a harrowing drive-by shooting. Trent sustains a gunshot wound to his leg, and Dante perishes in the hail of bullets. Limping back to Rosa's, she tenderly tends to his injury, vowing to provide him with an unassailable alibi.

The police swiftly descended upon the scene to secure the area and scrutinize Dante's abode. Trent, unable to produce identification, was apprehended for a deeper probe, his appearance aligning with the description of Dante's companion at the fatal hour. Despite Faith's arrival to lend a hand, Trent clung to his disguise as Bill Black. Yet, his primary concern was staying put to delve deeper into Rosa's knowledge about CK, now that Dante's absence left her as their solitary lead. To everyone's astonishment, Trent was unexpectedly freed after a mysterious legal eagle materialized to champion his cause.

Elsewhere, Angie and Ormewood found themselves slapped with a misconduct charge, yet the Captain showed mercy, refraining from disciplinary action. As they sought to justify their actions, Angie spotted Crystal at the precinct and requested a confidential conversation. Crystal unveiled her plight, revealing that Lenny had embarked on a campaign of sexual harassment, with her mother remaining oblivious to her ordeal. Angie vowed to intervene, urging Crystal to seek refuge at a friend's while she confronted Lenny.

Later, Trent analyzed the shooting, concluding that Dante was the intended victim, pondering why fate had spared his life. Faith's call interrupted his thoughts, informing him that the enigmatic attorney who secured his release was well-versed with Rosa. Post the call, Trent was menaced by a group of men who escorted him to an abandoned structure, subjecting him to a brutal interrogation. They sought to ascertain whether Trent had divulged any information during his incarceration. Trent stood his ground, discovering that CK had orchestrated Dante's demise due to his loose lips that drew DEA's attention. CK had unwittingly manipulated Dante into grooming his successor, Bill Black. Trent pleaded for a confrontation with CK, but his plea fell on deaf ears.

After engaging in an insightful conversation with Crystal, Angie endeavors to justify her upcoming actions, seeking solace in rationalization. She confides in Betty, vowing to release Trent once her scheme unfolds, yet harboring a desire for one final rendezvous with him. With a call to Trent, they arrange a meeting that soon blossoms into an intimate embrace, their bodies intertwined in a passionate encounter. Following their intimate moments, they share a tender pillow talk, where Angie expresses her gratitude for Trent's unwavering support.

The subsequent day, Ormewood unveils his concerns to Faith about Angie's erratic behavior, prompting Faith to counsel him to stand by her side.

Elsewhere, Trent finds himself in a lighthearted conversation with Rosa, their words laced with subtle flirtation. As they chat, Trent detects an anomaly in the man Rosa portrays as her sickly father. Curiosity piqued, he stealthily enters the room and discovers the startling truth: the man is a DEA agent presumed dead. Realizing that Rosa is none other than CK, he confronts her head-on.

Rosa confesses, revealing she harbored the DEA agent to preserve her drug empire. Trent, seeking to earn her trust, listens intently. She then tasks him with eliminating a young woman downstairs, a drug-using content creator whose home is riddled with cameras. Rosa yearns to witness the execution through her eyes, setting the stage for a chilling spectacle. Their lips meet in a fleeting kiss before she dispatches him with Gabriel, hoping he will prove himself worthy.

Meanwhile, Angie ventures into Lenny's abode, only to encounter Crystal in tears amidst a heated dispute between her mother and Lenny. The mother returns unexpectedly, catching Lenny engaging in inappropriate behavior towards Crystal. Angie attempts to defuse the tensions, but Lenny's aggression escalates. Despite Angie's best efforts to subdue him, the situation spirals out of control when Crystal, caught in the crossfire, lunges at Lenny with a knife, fatally wounding him.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Angie resolutely decides to take the blame, swiftly ushering Crystal and her mother to safety. She meticulously orchestrates the crime scene to depict a struggle that culminated in her killing Lenny. Ormewood, driven by concern, pays Angie a visit at Lenny's place and is struck with horror upon witnessing the grim tableau. Suspecting inconsistencies in Angie's narrative, he partners with her to further refine the staging of the scene.

Elsewhere, Trent employs his swift intellect to disable Gabriel and rescue the intended victim. He urges her to contact Faith for reinforcement while he proceeds to apprehend Rosa. Rosa is astounded by Trent's betrayal. In a daring maneuver, Trent saves the agent and attempts to stealthily evacuate him before Rosa's henchmen arrive.

Unfortunately, they are spotted, leading to another fiery gun battle. Fortunately, a neighboring Good Samaritan comes to their aid, facilitating their escape to safety. Soon after, the authorities arrive and assume control of the investigation.

Having heard of Angie's encounter with Lenny, Trent rushes to the hospital to check on her. He discovers her giving a police statement and realizes that Lenny was the secret she had been keeping from him, and the heroin found in his possession was meant for him. Once more, Angie severs ties with Trent, ending their relationship amidst revelations and heartbreak.
