Eugene pleads for assistance, yet vehemently refuses to be taken to the hospital, fearing for his life if they venture there.

Your Honor - Season 2 Episode 7 1

Lee, at a loss, reaches out to her friend Tanya, an Ob-Gyn who, unfortunately, is not well-suited to handle this dire situation. Meanwhile, fate intervenes as Michael is pulled over for speeding. He's driving Elizabeth's car, and his license has expired, landing him in a heap of trouble. The arresting officer is Walter Beckwith, the man who murdered Michael's wife, Robyn. Beckwith charges Michael with violating his parole and escorts him to his parole officer, but his true intentions are far more sinister. He knows that Michael holds the key to Robyn's murder, and he intends to silence him.

Elsewhere, Jimmy and Gina rush to Carlo's side after he's been gravely injured in a collision with Russ and Eugene's car. Gina is startled to learn that Frankie, Jimmy's trusted right-hand man, has been dismissed from the family fold. His loyalty to Carmine cost him his job after Jimmy brutally beat him in the previous episode. The trio is now on a mission to check on Fia at the hotel.

Rudy Cunningham, the officer who fired the shot that nearly took Eugene's life, anxiously checks with the control room to confirm if the body has been recovered. His anger and fear boil over when he learns that Eugene has miraculously escaped. Lee confesses to Eugene that she had tried to reach out to him the night before his disappearance, but she was unable to contact him.

Meanwhile, Monique sits alone in a bar, nursing a drink. Russ enters to report on Eugene's incident, but Monique's mind is elsewhere. She's deeply concerned about the devastation wrought by their new product on one of their own. Chris, one of Monique's loyal employees, has lost his 13-year-old son, Terrance, to the drugs plaguing the Desire locality. The tragedy weighs heavily on Monique's heart.

They made their way to Chris' abode, where Monique extended her heartfelt condolences. However, Chris' family was far from grateful for her presence. Upon reaching the hotel room, Jimmy and his companions discovered a startling absence - Fia and her baby Rocco had vanished without a trace.

Tanya and Lee hatched a hasty plan to spirit Eugene away from the city, but their efforts were thwarted when he suddenly collapsed. With no other option, they were forced to rush him to the hospital. Lieutenant Cusack, a paid informant of Jimmy's, reported back with disheartening news - Eugene's whereabouts remained a mystery. The little boy had become a target for numerous unknown parties, and few seemed willing to risk protecting him.

Jimmy dialed Monique's number, his voice dripping with reproach for Eugene's unexpected emergence. He threatened her, but Monique refused to back down, declaring that she was capable of defending herself. Lee managed to persuade the charge nurse not to disclose Eugene's exact description, fearing it would draw unwanted attention to the hospital.

Beckwith confessed that after Nancy reopened the investigation the previous week, he had met with his confidential informant. That encounter led him to Michael and his subsequent plot to eliminate him. Rudy sought Monique's assistance, but she was unable to offer any helpful insights, leaving him empty-handed.

Little Mo was still in the throes of recovery, nursing the wounds from his brutal beating. Rudy received a report of a gunshot victim being admitted to a nearby hospital and quickly verified the information with the hospital's security personnel. His suspicions confirmed, Rudy rushed to the hospital, knowing in his heart that the victim was Eugene.

Beckwith revealed that there had been another officer involved in the night of Robyn's murder. But before he could execute his plan and shoot the handcuffed Michael, Nancy intervened, shooting him down. She had tracked Michael's location using the phone Olivia had given him. Eugene, upon seeing Rudy, panicked and blurted out his true identity, hoping to deter Rudy from approaching him. The ploy worked.

Charlie was stunned to learn about Eugene's existence. He quickly distanced himself from Rudy and the case, urging him to "keep on driving," a veiled suggestion to flee the state and go into hiding. Nancy rummaged through Beckwith's phone and uncovered the identity of the second officer implicated in Robyn's murder.

Little Mo made a visit to Chris' family, offering his apologies for not purging the poisonous drugs when he had the chance. Chris was adamant, repeating that Monique had neglected her own people and must face the consequences. Jimmy pretended indifference to the situation, leaving Gina and Carlo baffled and perplexed. He contacted Phil Calabri and offered a counterproposal, agreeing to provide him with docking rights for his drugs only until the Baxter District was completed.

Jimmy's actions are a blatant demonstration of his power, a calculated effort to solidify his position as the undisputed patriarch of the family and the reins of the business firmly in his grasp. Calabri acquiesces to his terms without hesitation. Meanwhile, Fia, clutching the helpless babe in her arms, steps into the serene sanctuary of the church. With a heavy heart, she announces to the priest her decision to withdraw the baptism, revealing a deeper struggle beneath the surface. The priest senses her unease and, with compassion, she confesses her plans to flee, realizing the harsh reality of her solitude. He offers solace, sharing his own tale of finding redemption through the church.

Elsewhere, Nancy and Michael embark on a perilous journey to the policeman's abode, unaware that their destination holds a sinister surprise. It is Rudy, preparing to flee the consequences of his deeds. Nancy, gun drawn, confronts him, demanding the truth. Rudy concedes, admitting to ordering the hit, but claims he received a mysterious call that fateful night, a caller who desired Robyn's disappearance. His description eerily echoes Charlie's voice, as Rudy mentions a judge's car vanishing into the night. Suddenly, a gunshot rings out, and Nancy emerges, stating that Rudy had taken his own life.

Cusack briefs Jimmy on Eugene's whereabouts, revealing that the fugitive's arrest is imminent. Gina, however, is dissatisfied with the outcome, her heart heavy with concern. Charlie, meanwhile, frantically plots his defense, anticipating the revelation of Rudy's name. Michael, his suspicions growing, storms into Charlie's office, determined to seek the truth. He confronts Charlie, revealing Rudy's demise and accusing him of the night Robyn perished. Charlie protests his innocence, claiming ignorance of Rudy's intentions, but Michael's faith in his once-trusted friend is shattered. As he boards a bus, his heart heavy with betrayal, Michael's emotions overflow, leaving him broken and alone.

Upon returning home, a heartrending sight awaits him. Fia and baby Rocco, huddled together on his doorstep, offer a glimmer of hope in this dark hour.
