Moments after Fia's departure, Olivia sneaks in through the backdoor, but Michael stands firm in his refusal to assist her further. She pleads with him to manipulate Fia into spying on the Baxters, but he firmly rejects her demands.

Meanwhile, Monique's newly acquired club, Dezi Boule, is set to open its doors to the public on this fateful day. As fate would have it, Gina nearly runs into Monique in a moment of panic and reckoning upon spotting Monique's men and her new establishment. Eugene, incarcerated in the parish prison awaiting his trial for shooting Adam at the party's end in the previous season, languishes in his cell. Lee informs him that she will soon meet with the prosecutor, Jarek, to negotiate a deal.

However, when Lee confronts Jarek, he brushes aside her negotiation attempts. Confident in the State's case, he offers a deal that carries a hefty price tag - no less than 30 years in prison. Lee scoffs at his offer, but Jarek remains unwavering. He suggests that the only way he might consider softening his stance is if he can obtain incriminating information on Desire from Eugene, whom he suspects of belonging to Monique's gang. Lee worries for Eugene's safety, but Jarek assures her of his secure long-term facility.

Elsewhere, Jimmy attempts to win Carlo over to his side in the marital wars, admiring Carlo's dedication to the business. Carlo impresses Jimmy with the upgraded security systems at their hotels, prompting Jimmy to triple the security for the night of the new club's opening. He rewards Carlo's commitment by putting him in charge of all operations.

Meanwhile, the product stolen from Roderick by Desire has been sold, and Russ prepares to deliver the proceeds to Roderick to settle their debts. Monique, having chosen a ring, intends to propose to Janelle. She asks Chris, whose son perished due to the drugs in the previous episode, to stay at Buffa's, their central club, while she accompanies Russ and the others to the new establishment. Michael transfers the college fund he had established for Adam to Fia, symbolizing a new beginning. Eugene remains skeptical of Lee's offer and fears the consequences if Monique discovers his betrayal. He knows that Monique and her gang will stop at nothing to silence him if they discover his treachery.

Gina unexpectedly encountered Donetta at the grief meeting. Despite Donetta's past abrasiveness, Gina humbly apologized, and Donetta unexpectedly accepted her apology. Gina poured out her heart, sharing her struggles with Jimmy and Carlo. Donetta's reassuring words, "You may never have more children, but you can always find another husband," emboldened Gina's resolve to divorce Jimmy.

Meanwhile, Chris spied a balloon outside the club, dropped by another teenager, and his mind was set on vengeance against Monique. Lee confronted Jarek with a threat, revealing Michael's secrets and how he had manipulated a trial. If this information leaked out, every case Michael had ever presided over would be vulnerable to appeal.

As the club's opening drew near, Jimmy reminded Carlo that "security is for protection, not provocation." Monique promised to spend quality time with Janelle after the night's festivities. Gina, however, ignored Jimmy's advice to Carlo. She grabbed a fresh bottle and headed straight for the club. A tense moment arose when the bouncer roughly shoved Gina, but Carlo intervened, and Russ intervened further, escorting her to Monique.

The encounter between Monique and Gina was icy, with both women displaying their fierce and unyielding natures. Jenelle brought the new club to life while Chris wreaked havoc at Buffa's, robbing the place and turning it upside down. Monique quickly deduced Chris's involvement when she saw the balloon in her engagement ring box in the safe.

Olivia met with Fia in private, attempting to persuade her to spy on her family. Although Fia was initially adamant against it, Olivia showed her photos of Kofi's burned-down house and the murdered Jones family, all attributed to Jimmy. This shook Fia to the core, and she began to consider a change of heart. However, before she could make a decision, Michael unexpectedly walked in.

Olivia feigns ignorance of his existence and hurriedly departs, leaving Fia perplexed and seeking guidance from Michael. He counsels her to steer clear and hands her the college fund, urging her to flee far from this place and embark on a fresh chapter with her beloved Rocco.

The following day, Gina reveals her intention to Jimmy, declaring her desire for a separation. She knows that the night Rocco perished marked the end of their marriage. Jimmy tries to dissuade her, but Gina remains steadfast, pinning the blame squarely on him for Rocco's demise.

Lee breaks the news to Eugene that there's a chance he could be released within three years if Jarek accepts her offer. However, Eugene is uneasy with the idea of pleading guilty without voicing his side of the story, and he rejects the deal.

Later, Michael confronts Olivia, pleading with her to abandon her pursuit of Fia. Olivia remains steadfast in her resolve, determined to exact revenge on the Baxters by any means necessary. Michael promises to deliver Jimmy to Olivia if she agrees to leave Fia and Rocco out of her vengeance.
