Yumi’s Cells – K-drama Season 3 Episode 2 1

The next morning, Yumi spots Soon-rok heading towards the bungeoppang store once again. This time, she takes the initiative and buys all the strawberry-flavored ones, leaving Soon-rok in shock when he realizes she's hoarded them all.

This unexpected act triggers Yumi's endorphin cells, and as she returns home, she hands Coco back to Ruby, who candidly admits that the dog does indeed lick her poop sometimes. Ruby also notices that Yumi seems happier than usual.

That evening, Soon-rok surprises Yumi with a package from Soeil Bakery, a renowned place known for its delicious desserts. Just seconds later, he arrives at her doorstep and reveals that the desserts were actually meant for another writer.

The episode then delves into the art of compliments in the Cell Village. After this revelation, Yumi receives an email from Soon-rok with feedback on her writing. She's surprised to see how well he understands her style. She's about to send a compliment when Pride Cell abruptly stops her.

Later, as Yumi is in the parking lot, Soon-rok calls her over. He's there to give her the same box of desserts since she enjoyed them so much. Once again, Pride Cell prevents Yumi from giving him a compliment.

However, Pride Cell does allow Yumi to offer Soon-rok a ride to the publisher's office since she's already headed that way. But Yumi makes a mistake and drives into the entry lane instead of the exit lane, blocking the way for several cars. She panics but Soon-rok remains calm and takes over the driver's seat, smoothly parking the car so they can take a cab instead.

This time, Manners Cell prevails over Pride Cell, allowing Yumi to offer him a compliment. However, Soon-rok's reaction sends a mocking message to Yumi's Cell Village - "quit driving already." That night, Yumi finds it difficult to sleep again, pondering whether she should just ask Dae-yong to replace her PD. But she quickly realizes how petty it would sound.

The next day, Yumi heads to the train station to travel to Busan for an event. She learns that PD Jang has been called away for a family emergency, meaning that Soon-rok will be joining her instead. Yumi boards the train, assuming that Soon-rok will be taking the next one. However, he runs to catch the train and makes it in time. She's surprised to see him without his trademark suit and spectacles.

Yumi is relieved when Soon-rok says his seat is elsewhere, but Detective Cell wonders if he purposely sat far away. At that moment, Dae-yong calls Yumi and asks if she would be okay with switching her PD to someone else. Yumi is delighted and agrees immediately. This puts her in a good mood, and she offers Soon-rok a drink. She brings up the PD reassignment, and Soon-rok's reaction feels off. So she calls Dae-yong and confirms that it was Soon-rok who asked for the change. Yumi gets furious, and the True Intentions Cell pushes her to confront Soon-rok. The episode comes to a close as she asks him exactly what he doesn't like about her.

The confrontation between Yumi and Soon-rok adds a layer of tension and intrigue to the storyline, as we wait to see how their relationship will develop further. The vivid descriptions and emotional moments make the scene more engaging and help us connect with the characters on a deeper level.
