"I find myself in a fortunate position where auditions are no longer a necessity for me. Yet, I eagerly embarked on this path, discussing it extensively," Seyfried reminisced in the latest episode of Backstage's 'In the Envelope' podcast, her voice tinged with nostalgia from her days as a Mean Girls veteran. "I auditioned six times for 'Wicked,' because it had to be perfect. And oh, how I adored every moment of it," she added, her enthusiasm palpable.

However, she continued, acknowledging the demands on her time, "I was swimming in commitments, barely scraping together moments to prepare. But I rose to the challenge, dedicating countless years to mastering that music, leaving no stone unturned."

The star of "Mamma Mia!", with a sparkle in her eye, recounted that although she did not secure the role, the journey proved incredibly fulfilling. "I plunged headlong into preparation," she exclaimed, her eyes gleaming with the wisdom of experience. "And allow me to assure you, I have never felt my voice resonate with such power and steadfastness as it did throughout those auditions. That alone was a triumph for me," she concluded, her words brimming with emotion.

She further pondered, "I firmly believe that everything occurs for a reason... Moreover, I had the honor of singing alongside Cynthia, an experience that stood out in its own right, a cherished moment etched in my heart."
