Bobby Brown, a music icon whose name is synonymous with his chart-topping hits and his tenure in New Edition, has opened up about his journey of coping with the heart-wrenching losses of two cherished children and his former spouse, Whitney Houston. The 56-year-old artist revealed that he sought the solace of therapy to navigate the profound sorrow of losing his daughter in 2015 at the tender age of 22, his son Bobby Jr. in 2020 at 28, and his ex-wife Whitney Houston, who tragically departed in 2012. Therapy, he asserted, served as a beacon, guiding him through the tsunami of grief that engulfed him.

During an appearance on 'The Jennifer Hudson Show' on Monday, Bobby poured his heart out, saying, "Prayer was my first line of defense, a cornerstone that led me to embrace therapy as a vital part of my life. I willingly embarked on a journey with a therapist, diligently working through the intricate labyrinth of emotions within me."

The celebrated singer-songwriter also acknowledged the unwavering support from his wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, and their five children, who have been his pillars of strength during tumultuous times. Yet, he emphasized the profound comfort derived from his family's presence during his darkest hours.

Bobby shared, "Moreover, it's about having family... standing by me when I was at my lowest ebb, when I felt unbalanced, and when life's storms raged on. Their presence remains steadfast, as grief is not something that diminishes over time or fades away; it's a perpetual companion. It's about managing it, giving yourself the attention you deserve, acknowledging how you feel each day, and expressing those feelings to someone. Holding it all in is not the way."

Having been married to Whitney from 1992 to 2007, Bobby candidly admitted that he still harbors a deep fondness for the legendary musician, with whom he shared a daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
