Hulk Hogan stands resilient amidst his ongoing health challenges. The WWE Hall of Fame inductee, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, was recently admitted to a hospital, grappling with persistent neck and back woes. Despite the swirling rumors, Hulk's representative assured E! News on June 18th, "There's no cause for alarm."
The spokesperson elaborated that the star of 'Hogan Knows Best' has "battled back issues for years," underlining that he underwent neck surgery, which "proved to be successful." Earlier in the day, rumors concerning the 71-year-old's well-being circulated after YouTuber Bubba The Love Sponge alleged during a live stream that the wrestler was "hospitalized" and "might not pull through." In May, the representative had informed TMZ that Hulk merely required a "minor fusion procedure."
Hulk, who wed Sky Daily in 2023 and was previously married to Jennifer McDaniel and Linda Hogan, is no newcomer to surgical interventions, having disclosed that he has undergone approximately 25 surgeries. "I've had like 25 surgeries in the last decade. Ten of them were back surgeries," he confided to Jake Paul on the IMPAULSIVE podcast in September 2024. "I've had ten back surgeries, both knees and both hips replaced, shoulders—you name it."
News of Hulk's recent hospitalization emerged less than three months after his daughter, Brooke Hogan, who he shares with Linda along with son Nick Hogan, 34, opened up about their strained family dynamics. "Having no contact with my mom has nothing to do with my dad, and having no contact with my dad has nothing to do with my mom," the 37-year-old penned in an Instagram post on March 27th. "I yearned to see the good in them, to protect, assist, and start anew—only to be disrespected repeatedly. I craved a normal family, but it never materialized." She further noted, "Their behavior became more agonizing than their absence." Hulk has yet to address the familial rift publicly.
