The beloved couple, who announced their engagement in the year 2021, officially tied the knot over a romantic weekend in Dallas. Kristin Chenoweth, the renowned singer-actress, gracefully walked down the aisle with her long-time love, musician Josh Bryant, on Saturday in Dallas.
For their special day, the bride radiated elegance in a pink floor-length Pamella Roland gown, adorned with a stunning large bow at the back. She looked every inch a bride, her smile shining brighter than the stars in the night sky. For the reception, she made a stunning transformation, slipping into a pink cocktail dress, also designed by Roland, this time with a charming bow upfront. To add a touch of personality, she paired it with pink Nike sneakers, showing her playful side.
"Simple and elegant. I never thought I'd get married, so I went very non-traditional with the gown. I love it," Chenoweth shared with People about her choice of color, her eyes twinkling with happiness.
At the reception, guests were treated to an array of specialty cocktails, one of which was named "Wicked Margarita," a clever nod to Chenoweth's iconic role as Glinda the Good Witch in the hit Broadway musical Wicked. The cocktail not only tickled their taste buds but also evoked memories of Chenoweth's captivating performance.
Chenoweth and Bryant's love story began in 2016 at a wedding for her niece, where Bryant's band, Backroad Anthem, performed. Their paths crossed again two years later at her nephew's wedding, and their friendship blossomed into something deeper.
"We had become friends by this time, and that's when he came on strong," Chenoweth revealed to People. "Josh asked me where I was going to be playing next, and it was North Carolina. I said, 'I'm busy. I don't have time, da, da, da.' And he shows up to the concert and that was it for me."
The couple got engaged in October 2021, and they now reside in both New York and Nashville, a testament to their strong bond and shared dreams. Chenoweth's recent credits include Schmigadoon! and Bros, further highlighting her versatility and talent as an actress.
