Michele and Reich tied the knot in 2019, and their lives were further blessed with the arrival of Ever in 2020. Since then, the trio has been enjoying every moment of their growing family.

Last September, Michele bid farewell to her stunning portrayal of Fanny Brice in the Broadway revival of "Funny Girl". After stepping into the role following Beanie Feldstein in July 2022, Michele's performance received rave reviews, helping the show recoup its capitalization costs according to The New York Times. The production boasted nearly 600 performances at the August Wilson Theatre in New York, leaving a lasting impression on Broadway.

During her final performance, Michele was showered with seven standing ovations, a testament to her captivating talent and dedication to the role. "Thank you for all the love and support," she wrote on Instagram after the curtain fell, expressing her gratitude for the incredible journey. "This was truly the most extraordinary year and chapter of my life. I cannot wait for what's next."

Michele's portrayal of Fanny Brice held special significance for fans, as her "Glee" character, Rachel Berry, also had a deep personal connection to the role. The hit Fox series, created by Ryan Murphy, ran from 2009 to 2015, featuring Michele's Rachel performing iconic songs like "Don't Rain on My Parade" and the beloved cover of "My Man." It was a fitting tribute to her "Glee" alter ego when she performed the latter during the encore of her final Broadway show.
