The gifted star of "Bridgerton," Simone Ashley, graced the European premiere of the F1 racing drama on June 23, her presence a testament to grace despite her scene being omitted from the final cut. The 30-year-old actress, who had been integral to the Formula One racing narrative, learned through director Joseph Kosinski's recent revelation to People magazine that her part did not make it to the silver screen.

At the Cineworld Leicester Square in London, where the premiere was held, Ashley beamed with elegance as she posed for pictures on the red carpet. This was far from her first gesture of support for the film; earlier, she had also attended a Miami event alongside her costar Kerry Condon and producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

Undeterred by her role's excision, Ashley spoke warmly of her experience on set. "Though my part was minuscule, I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this film… I had the privilege of witnessing numerous Grands Prix. I doubt I'll ever encounter something as exhilarating again," she told ELLE earlier in June.

Kosinski, acknowledging Ashley's prowess, hailed her as "an extraordinary talent, a magnificent actress, and an incredible singer. I yearn to collaborate with her once more." He personally broke the news of her scene's exclusion to Ashley, explaining that her storyline was among the few that "sadly did not find a place in the final edit.… It's a common occurrence in filmmaking where more is shot than what ultimately makes the cut."

Starring Brad Pitt as a retired racer returning to Formula One, the film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Damson Idris, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem. Set to release in theaters on June 27, F1 promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience.
