Rob Lieber has crafted the screenplay, drawing inspiration from Dr. Seuss' acclaimed children's book. A priority project for the studio, "Oh, the Places You’ll Go!" is a collaboration between Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Bad Robot. Award-winning songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul are penning original songs for this venture, with J.J. Abrams and Gregg Taylor of Bad Robot serving as producers.

The film revolves around a young adventurer's journey through the twists and turns of life. It is based on Dr. Seuss' final published book, released in 1990, just a year before the beloved author passed away at the age of 87.

Jon M. Chu rides high on the success of Universal's Oscar-winning adaptation of "Wicked," featuring Grande as Glinda. The second installment of the two-part series, "Wicked: For Good," is set to mesmerize moviegoers in November. Grande will also star in the next film of the "Meet the Parents" franchise, alongside Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro. Meanwhile, Gad has his plate full with producing and starring in Amazon's "Spaceballs 2."

Warner Bros. Pictures Animation has also set a release date for its animated feature "The Cat in the Hat," scheduled to hit theaters on February 27, 2026. Bill Hader will lend his voice to the iconic feline in this Dr. Seuss adaptation.

Grande is represented by CAA, Good World Management, and Myman Greenspan, while Gad is managed by CAA, Range Media Partners, and Johnson Shapiro. Together, they promise to bring a magical and unforgettable experience to life in "Oh, the Places You’ll Go!"
