Brad Pitt and the acclaimed director of "Conclave," Edward Berger, are set to collaborate on the A24 feature film, "The Riders." This cinematic endeavor is deeply rooted in Tim Winton's acclaimed novel of the same name, It earned itself the distinction of being a nominee for the prestigious Booker Prize in 1995.The narrative weaves through the journey of a father and his daughter as they traverse Europe in search of their beloved wife and mother, who has mysteriously vanished. David Kajganich, a masterful screenwriter, is tasked with adapting this poignant tale for the silver screen.

Ridley Scott, a Hollywood legend, will serve as producer under his Scott Free Productions banner, joined by Michael Pruss. Kajganich will also don the producer's hat, alongside Berger's nine hours banner and Pitt's own production team comprising Jeremy Kleiner and Dede Gardner from Plan B Entertainment. With such an esteemed ensemble, the production is poised to commence in early 2026, capturing the essence of various European locales.

Berger, Kajganich, and Scott Free have previously collaborated on the critically acclaimed AMC series "The Terror," blending their talents to create a haunting narrative. Pitt, who recently delighted audiences alongside George Clooney in the action-comedy "Wolfs," will soon be seen in the Formula One-inspired film "F1," both distributed by Apple TV+.

Berger, a highly sought-after director in Hollywood, last graced theaters with his Vatican-centric drama "Conclave" and has recently wrapped up the Netflix mystery "The Ballad of a Small Player."
