Alexander Siddig takes the lead role in this magical realist tale, brought to life by the visionary writer-director Rolla Tahir.
Financed by Telefilm's esteemed Talent to Watch programme and the multinational New Dawn fund, "Jude & The Jinn" stars Siddig alongside the emerging talent Azza Abbaro. The film follows Jude, a thirty-something Nubian woman, who finds herself trapped in the bureaucratic maze of Canada after immigrating. When her father faces deportation, Jude spirals into a depression until she crosses paths with a mysterious jinn, igniting an unlikely friendship.
Rounding out the cast are Deena Nina, Emmanuel Kabongo, and Hudson Wurster, each bringing their unique charm and depth to the story.
