"A tale of war, a man on a quest, a cunning plan to breach the walls of Troy and see it reduced to ashes in a scream. Universal has unveiled a fresh promotional TV trailer for Christopher Nolan's epic adaptation of The Odyssey, the iconic ancient Greek poem by Homer, hitting theaters this summer on July 2026. This new 60-second spot showcases a glimpse of unseen footage from the first trailer and prologue revealed in December. Primarily, it features rapper Travis Scott (!) narrating a story in a dining hall on Odysseus's home island of Ithaca.

The narrative follows Odysseus (played by Matt Damon) on his treacherous journey home after the Trojan War, encountering mythical creatures like Polyphemus, the Sirens, and Circe, culminating in his long-awaited reunion with his wife, Penelope. The movie boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Tom Holland as Telemachus, Odysseus's son, alongside Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron as Circe, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong'o, Robert Pattinson, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, Samantha Morton, Jesse Garcia, Will Yun Lee, Rafi Gavron, Shiloh Fernandez, Mia Goth, Cosmo Jarvis, and many others.
I'm not bothered by Travis Scott's inclusion as all the footage looks absolutely thrilling.
