The all-star lineup boasts Hugh Laurie ("House") as the wise and powerful Albus Dumbledore, Matthew Macfadyen ("Succession") as the menacing Lord Voldemort, Riz Ahmed ("The Night Of") as the enigmatic Professor Snape, and Michelle Gomez ("The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina") as the formidable Professor McGonagall. Cush Jumbo ("The Good Wife") lends her talents as the narrator, guiding listeners through this magical journey. Together, they bring to life over 200 speaking roles, creating an unparalleled auditory experience.

"To be entrusted with the role of Albus Dumbledore is an honor beyond measure, and I am thrilled to embark on this enchanting voyage curated by Pottermore and Audible," expressed Laurie. "I am also deeply mindful of the illustrious actors who have portrayed him before – Richard Harris, Michael Gambon, Jude Law – and the iconic narrations by Jim Dale and my esteemed colleague, Sir Stephen Fry. On the horizon, the formidable John Lithgow awaits his turn in the upcoming HBO Harry Potter TV series. To be in such esteemed company is a privilege of the highest order."

Frankie Treadaway, Max Lester, and Arabella Stanton will voice Harry, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger in the initial trio of audiobooks, while Jaxon Knopf, Rhys Mulligan, and Nina Barker-Francis will assume these roles from "Goblet of Fire" onwards.

The series' inaugural adaptation, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," will make its debut on Audible on November 4th, with the remaining six English-language audiobooks set for monthly releases thereafter. Production is nearing completion, having logged over 2,000 hours of recording to bring these unabridged adaptations to life. These captivating productions serve as a complement, rather than a replacement, to the original English-language recordings by Dale and Fry, first introduced in 1999.
