The narrative revolves around Morgan, a timid 12-year-old haunted by nightmares, who finds himself at an isolated summer camp. As Morgan begins to uncover the eerie truth behind a campfire tale, a shadowy figure emerges, stalking the campers and thrusting the young boy and his newly forged friends into a perilous quest. "There were once cabins scattered throughout these woods," Whigham reveals in the exclusive trailer featured in The Hollywood Reporter. "One belonged to a doctor who had an enormous cellar in the basement. If you stay up too late or break curfew, you might just catch a glimpse of the doctor."

Subsequently, Morgan, now consumed by terror, exclaims in a voice laden with dread, "He's the doctor! He's all too real!" DelPurgatorio breathes life into Andy Greskoviak's ("Black Friday") bone-chilling screenplay in his directorial debut, with Warner Davis and Todd M. Friedman steering the production as its producers.

Hemlock Circle's recent offerings include "Coup!" starring Billy Magnussen and "The Re-Education of Molly Singer" featuring Britt Robertson. Whigham currently stars as Blaire Bennett in Seth MacFarlane's Peacock comedy series "Ted," which is gearing up for its second season. Her television credits also span "13 Reasons Why," "The Orville," "The Punisher," and "Scream."

Get ready for an unforgettable thrill ride as "Marshmallow" brings the haunted woods of the summer camp to vivid, terrifying life.
