John Krasinski is back in his element as an action hero, hot on the heels of "Jack Ryan" with the thrilling adventure film "Fountain of Youth" on Apple TV+. This captivating tale finds Krasinski teaming up with Natalie Portman as estranged siblings embarking on a daring global quest to uncover the legendary Fountain of Youth. Adding an intriguing layer to the familial dynamics, Krasinski's real-life brother-in-law, Stanley Tucci – married to Emily Blunt's sister Felicity – also stars in the movie, much to Krasinski's own surprise.

"I barely had the chance to share screen time with him," Krasinski revealed to The Hollywood Reporter at the film's New York premiere on Monday. "He was in scenes I wasn't. I didn't even realize he was part of the cast until director Guy Ritchie casually mentioned, 'Yeah, Stanley's joining us tomorrow,' and I asked, 'For what role?' He replied, 'This movie,' and I exclaimed, 'What?' It just goes to show how close-knit they are and how they kept me out of the loop!"

Despite his extensive experience with stunts, Krasinski admitted that the film posed new challenges for him. He recounted, "Running towards a moving train was something entirely new for me, and it felt incredibly real. Guy Ritchie simply told me, 'You're going to sprint and leap onto that moving train,' and I agreed without hesitation. He assumed I'd do it, and that assurance pushed me to rise to the occasion."

The star-packed ensemble also boasts Eiza González, Domhnall Gleeson, and Arian Moayed. González echoed Krasinski's sentiments about the action scenes, sharing, "I faced many learning curves throughout this production. I honed my skills in stick fighting, hand-to-hand combat, and muay thai. I truly had to diversify my fighting styles because we wanted each location to resonate with the unique visual aesthetic of the city."

"Fountain of Youth" begins streaming on Apple TV+ this Friday.
