Kim Kardashian Starring in Bratz Movie

Published: Jun 26 2025

Just like the vibrant characters of Bratz, Kim Kardashian harbors an unwavering passion for the world of fashion. Now 44, Kim is set to breathe life into these iconic dolls in an upcoming live-action film produced by Amazon MGM Studios. Not only will she take on the role of a producer for this cinematic endeavor, but E! News has confirmed that she is also keen on starring as the malevolent villain, albeit the plot details remain shrouded in secrecy. This project will mark the second live-action adaptation of the Bratz franchise, following the 2007 release of "Bratz: The Movie," which featured Janel Parrish of "Pretty Little Liars" fame, among others.

This new film signifies a significant addition to Kim's already impressive résumé, which includes raising her children – North West, 11, Saint West, 9, Chicago West, 7, and Psalm West, 6, with her ex-partner Kanye West, completing her law studies, and founding successful brands like SKIMS.

However, this isn't Kim's maiden voyage into the realm of acting. In 2023, the entrepreneur shone brightly in season 12 of "American Horror Story," and she's currently collaborating once again with Ryan Murphy to film the upcoming legal drama series "All's Fair" for Hulu, where she doubles as a producer – a recurring theme for Kim, as she's also set to produce and star in the upcoming Netflix comedy film "The 5th Wheel."

Despite recently focusing on her acting career, Kim is meticulous when selecting her roles. She's not interested in parts that drastically alter her appearance. During a June 2024 episode of "The Kardashians," she joked to her friends about her acting aspirations, saying, "I'm not going to be gaining 500 pounds for a role and losing a million. That's just not where I need to be."

She also acknowledged that some of the changes she's made to her appearance, particularly Botox, might hinder her ability to tackle intense roles. "How am I going to cry?" she quipped. "How am I going to be scared out of my mind? I cannot move."

And while Kim is set to appear in the Bratz movie, she's not the only sister in the Kardashian-Jenner clan with a soft spot for the brand. In 2023, Kylie Jenner launched her own line of Bratz dolls adorned in some of her favorite outfits. "I have been a fan of Bratz since childhood, and I've always wanted my own Bratz doll," Kylie revealed in a press release at the time. "I have loved every step of the process this past year in creating these dolls alongside the Bratz team. I'm so excited they are here!"
