Michelle Randolph, who has garnered acclaim for her roles in Taylor Sheridan's epic series "1923" and the compelling "Landman," is currently in negotiations to take center stage in "Malibu," a chilling horror thriller helmed by Tod Williams under the Screen Gems banner. Roy Lee and Steven Schneider, heavyweights in the horror industry, are producing this low-budget gem through their esteemed Spooky Pictures.

While the plot remains shrouded in secrecy, akin to the eerie underbelly it promises to explore, "Malibu" is described as a thriller that delves deep into the subterranean horrors, lurking beneath the surface. Filming is scheduled to commence later this year.

This project marks a reunion between Williams and Schneider, who previously collaborated on "Paranormal Activity 2," a blockbuster horror franchise where Schneider served as both producer and executive producer.

Spooky Pictures, a partnership between Lee and Schneider, is a powerhouse in the horror genre. Their credits include last year's supernatural thriller "Late Night with the Devil," starring David Dastmalchian, and the critically acclaimed "Strange Darling," which propelled director JT Mollner into the Hollywood spotlight. Currently, Spooky Pictures is developing an adaptation of Scott Snyder's horror comic "Dungeon." Lee and Schneider are also producing "The Long Walk," Lionsgate's adaptation of a Stephen King story, set to hit theaters on September 12.

Randolph has firmly established herself on Hollywood's radar with her standout roles in Sheridan's acclaimed TV series. She portrayed Liz Strafford alongside Harrison Ford, Helen Mirren, and Brandon Sklenar in "1923," a spin-off from Sheridan's "Yellowstone" empire. Subsequently, she secured a role in "Landman," where she shines as the daughter of Billy Bob Thornton's titular character. The Paramount+ show was recently renewed for a second season in March.

This rising starlet will also appear in "Scream 7," scheduled for release in February 2026.

Randolph is represented by UTA and D2 Management, as she continues to ascend in the entertainment industry with each mesmerizing performance.
