Crafted by Japanese/Hong Kong stuntman turned filmmaker Kenji Tanigaki, The Furious also features the renowned stunt crew from Everything Everywhere All at Once. Filmed in Bangkok, Thailand, this movie follows a father's fierce battle against ruthless kidnappers to save his abducted daughter.
The film opens with this guy teaming up with a journalist to take on pretty much everyone. They must fight the entire crime syndicate and an entire city – and it's absolutely astounding! I'm in love with this movie. It completely and utterly blew me away! The Furious stars Mo Tse (aka Xie Miao) as Wang Wei, alongside The Raid's Joe Taslim and Yayan Ruhian, Yang Enyou, Brian Le, Joey Iwanaga, and JeeJa Yanin.
This trailer offers a generous dose of the movie's action, showcasing numerous jaw-dropping, mind-blowing fight scenes. There are so many of them, and the whole movie rolls on non-stop once it kicks off. In my review last year, I raved: "This movie is The Raid 2 of the 2020s. Another instant action classic."
