This six-episode odyssey, adapted from Elin Hilderbrand's 2018 novel, introduces Eve Hewson as Amelia Sacks, a zookeeper who's about to marry into the exclusive ranks of Nantucket's elite. Kidman steals the spotlight as Amelia's disapproving future mother-in-law, Greer, who orchestrates a grandeur wedding amidst the festivities of the Fourth of July. But as the wedding bells chime, a grim discovery washes ashore, unraveling the family's darkest secrets and igniting a thrilling investigation.

"Murder mysteries have been a staple of my youth, and I hadn't encountered one quite like this in a while," Kidman enthused to Reuters at the UK premiere in London on Monday. "It was exhilarating to be part of this project and even more so to produce it. Greer is a character unlike any I've played before, particularly in contrast to my role in 'Babygirl,' the erotic drama I debuted at Venice Film Festival last week. Greer is fierce, formidable, and playing her was exhilarating. I'm always on a quest for roles that challenge me and offer fresh experiences."

Liev Schreiber takes on the role of Tag, the patriarch of the Winbury family, admitting he needed some persuasion initially. "But after engaging in conversations with director Susanne Bier and Nicole for about two weeks, I realized the depths of this tale's dark charm and beauty. It all fell into place," he shared.

Hewson's Amelia, on the other hand, finds herself an outsider amidst the intricate web of the Winbury clan. "I couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy towards the Winburys with their witty one-liners," she chuckled. "I was the grounded, serious one amidst all the glitz and glamour."

Rounding out the star-studded cast are Dakota Fanning, Meghann Fahy, Jack Reynor, Billy Howle, Sam Nivola, and Ishaan Khatter, each contributing their unique flair to this intricate tale.
