This autumn, a heartwarming comedy feature starring Paris Berelc and Luke Benward is poised to captivate viewers' hearts. Exclusively learned by The Hollywood Reporter, Xumo Play has secured the rights to director Blayne Weaver's enchanting film, "Miss Valentine," which is slated for a limited theatrical release on October 1st, while simultaneously making its debut on the free, ad-supported streaming service.
Produced by Capital Arts Entertainment in collaboration with the Film Studio at Shenandoah, "Miss Valentine" will be available to stream on Xumo Play's dedicated "Her" channel, accessible via the Xumo Stream Box, Xumo TV, and an app on various major streaming platforms.
The narrative of "Miss Valentine" revolves around Samantha (played by Berelc), who is haunted by the memory of an onstage meltdown after winning her hometown's Miss Valentine pageant during her teenage years. Years have passed, and she returns home amidst a heart-wrenching breakup, only to discover that everything has changed for her this time.

Weaver, who directed the film based on a script penned by Patricia Harrington ("Santa Girl"), co-produced the project alongside Joseph P. Genier, Mike Elliott, Paul DiFranco, Karen Gorodetzky, and Steve Nerangis.
Expressing his excitement, Weaver said, "I am thrilled that 'Miss Valentine' will be featured on Xumo, where millions of people can indulge in this humorous romantic comedy. Paris Berelc, best known for her work as a child actor, shines brightly in this film. Her chemistry with Luke Benward is undeniable, and I am immensely proud of the talented ensemble cast we've assembled around them."
