"While everyone knows Superman as a superhero, I'm eager to introduce moviegoers to the REAL superhero behind the cape - Christopher Reeve. This film is a remarkable journey that delves deep into the heart and soul of the man himself, revealing the incredible courage he possessed," said Ray Nutt, CEO of Fathom Events, in a statement.

Directed by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, the documentary explores the subject's illustrious Hollywood career, personal history, and his tireless activism for disability awareness following his paralysis.

"It was in this studio where he made us believe a man could fly, and this documentary shines a spotlight on what truly made him a hero, both on and off the screen. Partnering with our friends at Fathom Events to bring this exceptional film to the big screen was an opportunity we couldn't resist," said Jeff Goldstein, president of domestic distribution at Warner Bros.

The film's international theatrical rollout will follow, further expanding its reach and impact. Fathom Events, renowned for its ability to generate buzz and demand for special-event programming, is a perfect partner for DC Studios, a division of Warner Bros. that is home to some of the most iconic superhero franchises in the world.
