Adding to the summer's blockbuster lineup, Paramount Pictures' reboot of the hilarious "Naked Gun" franchise, helmed by director Akiva Schaffer, is also slated for release on July 18, 2025. This new installment stars Liam Neeson as the bungling detective Frank Drebin, promising to deliver laughs aplenty.

The thriller grossed a whopping $72 million ($141 million adjusted for today's standards).

Hewitt and Prinze reprised their roles in the 1998 sequel "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer," while the 2006 installment "I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer" featured a brand-new ensemble cast. More recently, Amazon launched a streaming series based on the franchise in 2021, keeping the legacy alive for a new generation of fans.
