Paramount Pictures is currently in the process of finalizing new release dates for a number of its upcoming films. A yet-to-be-titled inspirational biopic of NFL player John Tuggle has been set for December 25, 2026. This heartwarming story stars David Corenswet, known for his role as Superman, as the titular John Tuggle. Nicknamed "Mr. Irrelevant" due to being picked last in the 1983 NFL draft by the New York Giants, Tuggle's impact on his team was profound despite playing for only one season.

The Christmas corridor is once again packed this year, with both Avengers: Doomsday and Dune: Part III set to premiere a week earlier on December 18. Angry Birds 3 hits theaters on December 23, while Robert Eggers' Werewulf joins the Tuggle biopic on Christmas Day.
