50 Cent stands firm in his stance regarding the verdict in the Sean "Diddy" Combs sex-trafficking case. As the founder of Bad Boy Records was acquitted of three out of five charges levied against him, the rapper shared his perspective on the matter with a characteristically bold flair. On July 2, accompanied by a picture of himself beaming at the camera, he posted on Instagram, "Diddy has bested the Rio; that guy's a force to be reckoned with! He's like the Gay John Gotti @50centaction."

According to NBC News reporters present in the courtroom, after a nearly two-month-long trial, a New York jury acquitted Combs of racketeering and two counts of sex trafficking. However, the jury did find him guilty of two prostitution-related charges. (Combs had pleaded innocence to all accusations.) Following the verdict, which spared him from a potential life sentence, Combs reportedly dropped to his knees in prayer, while his family members, including his mother Janice Combs and six out of his seven children, embraced and rejoiced, as reported by NBC News.

Throughout the trial, 50 Cent (born Curtis Jackson) has offered his thoughts on various developments, including his reaction to the jury being instructed to continue deliberating after expressing a deadlock in the racketeering case. Additionally, he is delving deeper into the case for an upcoming Netflix docuseries.

In a joint statement issued last September, just a week after Combs' arrest, 50 Cent and co-producer Alexandria Stapleton emphasized, "This is a story with profound human implications. It's a multifaceted narrative spanning decades, far beyond the headlines and snippets seen so far. We remain unwavering in our commitment to amplify the voices of the unheard and to present authentic and nuanced viewpoints." On the same day, he playfully joked on Instagram, "This is quite the deal; whose brilliant idea was this, LOL."
