Adele's performance on June 1 was reportedly disrupted by a member of the audience screaming, "Pride sucks!" The renowned singer paused her Las Vegas concert on Saturday to confront a blatantly homophobic heckler. According to footage circulating on social media and obtained by SkyNews, amidst Adele's engaging banter with the crowd, a distinct voice could be heard shouting, "Pride sucks!" This occurred on the very first day of Pride Month, a time annually dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQ community.

"Did I hear that correctly? Did you actually say, 'Pride sucks?'" Adele retorted, her voice echoing through the venue. "You came to my concert and had the audacity to say Pride sucks? Are you truly that ignorant? Stop being so absurd." She continued, "If you have nothing positive to contribute, then kindly shut your mouth, alright?" Her strong stance was greeted with overwhelming applause from the rest of the audience.

Subsequently, fans online engaged in a debate, trying to decipher whether the heckler had shouted "Pride sucks" or "work sucks."

Adele has always been a staunch advocate for the LGBTQ community and women's rights. Last December, she gracefully accepted the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at The Hollywood Reporter's annual Women in Entertainment event. Prior to the ceremony, the "Rolling In The Deep" hitmaker revealed that she prefers to keep her charitable endeavors anonymous. "I never want those I'm assisting to question my motives," she confessed. "I don't want them to believe I'm doing this for my own gain or authenticity. I certainly wouldn't want them to feel exploited. This is a passion of mine, and I truly desire to embark on this philanthropic journey. However, I plan to start it in my homeland first."

Adele's residency in Las Vegas, aptly titled "Weekends With Adele," will continue to enchant audiences until November.
