When probed about her intentions to release a new album soon, following the success of her 2021 masterpiece '30', Adele confessed that her "creative well has run dry" after the exhaustive string of performances that left her emotionally and physically drained. She emphatically stated, "I don't have any plans for new music right now. I desperately need a break, and I'm considering venturing into other creative outlets for a while." She further mused, "Oddly, I don't even sing at home anymore. Isn't that strange?"

Adele had previously alerted her loyal fans to brace for a lengthy wait for her fifth album. As reported by Consequence, during one of her 'Weekends with Adele' performances in Las Vegas back in January, she candidly revealed that she didn't foresee herself "penning another album anytime soon."

While Adele remained tight-lipped about the specific "creative things" she has in mind, Forbes broke the news in 2023 that she had secured a trademark in the U.K. for an upcoming venture called The Shelbourne Collective Limited. According to the filing, it falls under the 74100 category, encompassing "specialized design activities."

In the same interview, Adele spoke candidly about the impact of fame, confessing that she longed for the anonymity of her pre-celebrity life. She confessed, "I don't relish being famous. I cherish making music and having people appreciate it... but the celebrity aspect, I abhor it. I miss every aspect of who I was before the spotlight."

The Grammy-winning artist's popularity is such that Munich crafted a bespoke, pop-up stadium specifically for her 10-night residency, set to take place throughout August. Adele had previously announced the exciting news on Instagram, sharing her elation upon receiving the offer to perform these unique concerts. She exclaimed, "I couldn't resist the temptation to explore this extraordinary concept — a one-of-a-kind, tailor-made stadium tailored to whatever show I envision! In the heart of Europe? In Munich? It's unconventional, yet utterly captivating!"
