The actress Anna Faris disclosed that her portrayal of Shelley Darlingson in 'The House Bunny' was a pivotal moment in her life. Although there might not be a sequel to the film in the pipeline right now, Faris revealed that she has a captivating concept for one. In a revealing interview with People magazine, ahead of the release of her upcoming movie 'My Spy: The Eternal City', the actress reminisced about the 2008 cult classic that also starred Emma Stone, Kat Dennings, and Rumer Willis.

"I cherish the dream," said Faris, expressing her longing to reprise the role of Shelley Darlingson. She elaborated on her vision for the character, sharing, "For a while, I envisioned Shelley as a country music diva gone rogue, but then the idea of her as a CIA interrogator struck me."

The star of 'Scary Movie' continued her vision, envisioning Shelley saying, "Oh, what's my profession? I'm a CIA interrogator." She added with enthusiasm, "Let's pen down a script. I'd jump at the opportunity to bring that to life."

'The House Bunny' follows Faris's character Shelley, a Playboy Bunny, who is deemed past her prime at 27 and exiled from Hugh Hefner's mansion. Seeking a new start, she lands on a college campus, determined to join a sorority. After being rejected by every sorority except the awkward Zeta Alpha Zeta, she utilizes her Bunny experience to teach the girls the art of attracting men.

Faris also divulged the profound impact the role had on her, explaining that portraying a compassionate and non-judgmental character who "led with her heart" left a lasting impression. "It might sound clichéd, but it somehow made me feel more approachable in making friends," she confessed. "It was a simple yet powerful experience. Playing a character who wasn't competitive and was genuinely kind inspired me to lead a life filled with compliments, a way to counter jealousy."
