Adrian Grenier Shares One Condition for Major Acting Return After Moving to Texas Farm

Adrian Grenier is eagerly anticipating the establishment of his own entourage in Texas. Five years after leaving the bustling metropolis of Los Angeles for a serene farm in the Lone Star State, the former 'Entourage' star has revealed the conditions under which he would once again commit to a significant acting role. "The truth is, the industry is converging towards me," Adrian said in an interview with Page Six published on March 16th. "They're constructing three movie studios not too far from my doorstep. I see no reason why we couldn't continue filming in Texas."

While he admittedly retains a "soft spot" in his heart for California, the 49-year-old wishes to be closer to his wife, Jordan Roemmele, and their two sons, Seiko, aged two, and Evren, who is just eleven months old. "My family is in Texas," he explained, "so I'd like to remain close to home."

Furthermore, Adrian has become more selective about his roles these days. Take his new short film 'Self Custody,' one of the few projects he's starred in since relocating to Texas. As a self-proclaimed "Bitcoin guy," he was drawn to its cryptocurrency-centric narrative.

"Ultimately, I only take roles that resonate with my values or speak to me in some way," Adrian shared. "Fortunately, I'm in a position where I don't have to settle for whatever comes my way."

However, is that the reason why he didn't reprise his role opposite Anne Hathaway in 'The Devil Wears Prada 2'? Not entirely.

"Obviously, it was disappointing not to receive the call for the sequel," he told the outlet, "but I also understand there's some backlash against Nate, the character, so that might have played a part in it."

Still, Adrian noted, "We're all fans of the movie, whether or not we're in it." So, while Adrian would have "of course" said yes to the sequel, he has other ideas for his chef character, who some fans believe is the true antagonist of 'The Devil Wears Prada,' in comparison to Meryl Streep's icy Miranda Priestly.

"It leaves room for a delightful spinoff," he jokingly added, "in which Nate gets his own film."
