JoJo Siwa's head is spinning like a boomerang as she embarks on a playful exploration of the evolution of her personality throughout her career. In her new music video for "I'm Still Dancin'," the Dance Moms alum takes us through six different versions of herself, each representing a distinct phase from her life. For her "bad girl" era, introduced with the 2024 hit "Karma," the 22-year-old dons black face paint, a black bedazzled body suit, and gems in her hair. Meanwhile, she portrays "Joelle," a polished and reserved version of herself in a blush pink skirt and sweater, sans rhinestones, representing her current, more mature self.

In a March 16 TikTok video, the "Boomerang" singer (full name Joelle Joanie Siwa) plays on the dichotomy of these two personas and lip-syncs to a clip of Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian in an argument. "You could tell me these are 2 different people," JoJo captions the clip, "and I would believe you."
Beyond joking about the contrast between her past and present, JoJo—who started dating Chris Hughes in April—has recently detailed all the ways she has grown up since appearing on Dance Moms a decade ago. "I've gotten more comfortable with the idea of Joelle," she told E! News' The Rundown last month. "My boyfriend calls me Joelle. My family doesn't call me Joelle. My friends call me JoJo, but Jenna Johnson from Dancing With the Stars calls me Joelle. So it's kind of been a mix in my life." However, JoJo added, "I feel like Joelle more so now than ever."
As for who this new version of herself truly is, "I'm still meeting her myself," JoJo continued. "I think Joelle is the happy version of JoJo, and I feel like JoJo is the crazy version of Joelle."
