Shot in Simi Valley, Southern California, the location was notoriously hot, as Arngrim described it: "It was the hottest location in the world. It was so intense." For those who may not be familiar, Arngrim famously portrayed the spoiled and sharp-tongued Nellie Oleson on the hit NBC show.

She shared that the cast and crew had to resort to extreme measures just to survive the heat while filming outdoors. "They would have buckets of ice water and Sea Breeze so that you could dip a cloth in it and put it around your neck," she explained.

The actress then added a humorous anecdote about the predictable toll of the heat during production: "You know how people say the first day of spring is when you see a robin? The first day of summer is when Alison hits the ground because I was out like that."

"It was that hot," she concluded with a wry smile, painting a vivid picture of the relentless heat that accompanied their work on "Little House on the Prairie."
