Alix Earle has navigated through the static, shedding rare light on her fallout with Alex Cooper's Unwell Network. In a March 23 TikTok, she detailed the tumultuous thoughts that swirled within her during the abrupt hiatus of her Hot Mess podcast in March 2025.
"I was essentially in a state of, 'What am I doing?'" Alix explained. "I had a genuine desire to experiment with vlogs." The 25-year-old recalled watching her sister Penelope Earle compete in an equestrian competition while simultaneously "cornered on the phone with lawyers, trying to decipher what was unfolding."

Despite the stress of the moment, Alix, who watched the 11-year-old compete while recalling the previous year's events, has since realized how far she's come. "I felt utterly lost," she said. "Unsure of what was transpiring—and now, looking back, I'm astounded by how much has changed. Time truly reshapes everything, and I firmly believe everything happens for a reason."
As for her Hot Mess podcast, despite Alix telling WSJ Magazine last year that she planned to revive and "elevate" the show, it has yet to return in any form. Meanwhile, she shared with the outlet that her exit from the Unwell Network was "a little bit of a hot mess behind the scenes," though she never elaborated on the specifics of her departure.
Alex, however, has remained steadfast in asserting that there was no drama—despite online chatter suggesting otherwise. "Hi, I see your comments," the Call Her Daddy podcaster wrote in a March 2025 Instagram Story. "Alix's inability to podcast has nothing to do with Unwell. I don't know why she can't or what's going on. Unwell returned everything she owns; she retains her IP."
Alix's reminder that the phrase "this too shall pass," as she told fans in her TikTok video, often holds true was one she said she also needed. After all, the social media star has been candid about her emotional journey since parting ways with ex-boyfriend Braxton Berrios late in 2025.
"I'm feeling a lot better and more like myself, at least compared to last month," the Dancing With the Stars alum noted in the video. "It was just a good reminder of being here and being like, 'Oh!' Like I'm sure this time next year, I'll be like, 'Wow, the things I was worried about—just a distant memory.'"
